Hi everyone! It is Chewy Day and we are reviewing Nutramax Cosequin Original Joint Health Sprinkle Capsules Cat Supplements.*
*Disclaimer: We received the Nutramax Cosequin Capsules for free in exchange for a fair review and spreading the word about Chewy.
I decided that these would be perfect for Prancie. We don’t know her exact age, but she has lived with us for 12 years and the vet guessed she was 2 or 3 at the time she arrived. She doesn’t seem to get up on the bureaus like she used to. She gets on the bed because there is a stool there to help her.
Nutramax Cosequin Original Joint Health Sprinkle Capsules Cat Supplements come in capsule form, you just open the capsule and sprinkle it over canned food. They are made with manganese, glucosamine and chondroitin. She seems to like the flavor and finishes her food. It also seems to agree with her tummy, I tried something similar on Spooky years ago and it upset his tummy.
The reviews say that owners noticed improvement after a day, but I didn’t. She has only been using it for 2 weeks and I know from experience when we had a dog, that it usually takes a month to start helping. I am hoping it will improve her mobility, I will keep you posted.
If you have an older cat with arthritis, you might want to give it a try. It is on sale this month for $8.96 for a 30 day supply. Click here
And don’t forget Chewy has free 1-2 day shipping on orders over $49

Prancie, here’s hoping that your ouchies feel better soon! You are a cutie, and I’m a Chewy.com fan!
Thank you π XO
We need to give this a try for Binga and Boodie!
Good idea.
Pipo gets a similar medicine, but its human grade, cut into a cat size dose…anypaws it has helped him, along with a grain free diet and some slimming down. We hope Prancie will benefit.
I am glad it helps Pipo.
M has been testing the same thing this month, but without noticeable difference. I’m glad to know he wasn’t the only one that didn’t display immediate improvement.
I hope it does help M and Prancie soon.
I hope it makes you feel better, Prancie!
Thank you π
Dat Artritis guy isn’t any fun is he. I bet that ttablet does help. The kitty before me was on that stuff and it did help him for a long time – like about 4 years. Hope it works for you pal.
Good to know it worked for so long.
I hope it will help Prancie……arthritis is not a fun thing. I had a lot of mobility problems my last year but I didn’t like the taste of ANYTHING Mom tried out for me…….at least Prancie has no problem with the taste!
Love, Angel Sam
I am glad Prancie likes it and it agrees with her tummy. I am sorry you were not well for your last year. XO
I hope it helps Prancie feel better. Nothing fun about feeling those aches and pains!
Thank you π
I am so glad that Prancie eats it well and that it doesn’t upset her stomach. Now, I am really hoping it helps her mobility! Purrs to Prancie and all of you!
Thank you π
That will be interesting to see if it helps Prancie. We hope so. You all have a great day.
Thank you. We hope you had a great day too.
Glad Prancie likes it and hope it starts to help.
Thank you π
I hope they help. I know that supplements like that can take a month or more to start to work. Benny is on Adequan injections and they are helping him (though, of course, they aren’t a cure all, but we prefer to use this instead of a pain killer.)
I am glad you found something that helps Benny.
Tuesdays are for Chewy all over blogville
Great review
Hugs Madi your bfff
Thank you, 3rd Tuesday of the month is Chewy day π
We sure hope that helps you out some Prancie!
Thank you π
We already heard of Cosequin. We hope it helps Prancie ! Purrs
Thank you XO
I’ve taken that myself. It usually does help, but you’re right…it takes about a month to see the effects. ~Wally
Thank you Wally, good to know it works.
I hope it works for you!
Thank you π
Paws crossed this works for Prancie. We can never seem to get or post done in time for the blog hop.
Thank you π I think the hop is open for quite a while to join in.
I have heard great things about these! I hope that they can help Prancie feel a little better. Aging does a lot of mean things to us all. She looks pretty happy about giving them a try!
Thank you π Prancie was happy to be the center of attention as opposed to Phoebe.
I’m going to be trying this out too. Hope it helps both of us feel better!
Purrs,
Isabella
I hope so too π
We reviewed those today. We didn’t see any results either but didn’t really expect too since da packagin’ clearly said it takes 4 to 6 weeks. We are gonna be reviewin’ somethin’ else very soon you might want to try or add to your survival kit. We are fur sure seein’ results and it’s pawsum. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I look forward to your other review, I am glad it is working. XO
This becomes important as we are no longer “kits”. Take care of You. Hugs.
I hope it starts helping Prancie.
They say glucosamine is good for all older cats because just about all of them have some sort of need for it.
I hope it starts working.
