Hi everyone! This month my cats tried Merrick Backcountry Grain-Free Real Chicken Recipe Freeze-Dried Raw Cat Treats from Chewy. *

These treats were a hit or miss with nothing in between. Joanie and Brody gobbled them right up.
Sammy loved them too 
as well as Prancie
KaTwo, Phoebe, Snowball and Penny did not like them . Nine out of thirteen is still pretty darn good though. They do break up easily to make them easier to chew. I just fed them as treats, but they can be added to the top of canned foods too.
The ingredients list is short which is always good:
Chicken, Chicken Liver, Dried Peas, Dried Potatoes, Gelatin, Salt, Mixed Tocopherols (Preservative).

M and Purr are supposed to test Merrick Backcountry Grain-Free Salmon this month and thus far, all they have done is play soccer with them… Prior to this, their favorite treat has been Halo Freeze-dried salmon. However, we were away for the weekend . Purr wanted to come and was annoyed at being left behind… M was annoyed that Purr stayed and he didn’t get the house to himself…. Thus, I don’t know if the lack of interest was the brand or their attitudes…. Saphera really, really wanted the treats…

Mmm, these sure do sound good, and I love that the ingredient list is short and sweet. I would indeed say that 9 out of 13 kitties is pretty darn good! I assume that Evan is probably the only kitty here who would eat these, but that’s how it goes at my house. Purrs!

At the moment Phoebe is on strike of all treats, she can be picky.
Sounds pretty much pawsome with 9 of your sweet cats liking them!☺️ I’m forever looking for treats for Murli. She can’t tolerate most things, but a short ingredient list and no grains is always making it possible for us to try them.
Often, they have foods from the US in some shops in Europe too, which we order from. Going to take a look.

That is great that 9 of them liked them, they sound healthy. I wish Pooh would eat freeze dried but she won’t. Still lucky right now to get her to eat period. Hugs and nose kisses
