Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop and The Pet Parade.
I know this is late for Dr. Seuss Day this year, but I wanted to let you all know about this website I just discovered where you can make a sign with your choice of many Dr. Seuss characters. RedKid.Net
We are also joining Sabi Saturday, the new hop my Cactus Catz. You show something you have rescued from the trash or something you repurposed. To find out more, click here.
This wine glass has a crack in it, but instead of tossing it, I use it as a dust cover for the kitty my friend made me.
That is a clever use for your wine glass. I think it might make a stylish little ‘greenhouse’ (Like a cloche), for a miniature plant.
PS: I forgot to say, I hope that bump on Sammy’s nose will be nothing bad…sending lots of purrs and pawyers.
Thank you 🙂 A little greenhouse is a good idea too. Thank you for the purrs and prayers for Sammy. XO
That is a fun site, and so many other signs as well as Dr.Seuss. I made Eric and Flynn a Walk of Fame star each.
That is a good idea for the wine glass. I am very good at chipping or cracking them so I shall have to start saving them instead of throwing them out.
Glad you like that site too 🙂 And yes, the wine glasses are handy. XO
Clever idea with the wine glass/dust cover!!
Hugs, Pam
Thank you 🙂 XO
I love Thing 1 and Thing 2. They are adorable. I always enjoyed reading the Dr. Seuss books to the kids. One of my favorite was The Cat in the Hat Comes Back.
I agree with the others, that is a great idea you had for the wine glass. The kitty under it is cute, too. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend, my friend!
Thank you 🙂 I love Dr. Seuss too. I hope you have a blessed weekend too. XO
What a great use for a cracked wine glass. The kitty is too cute too. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you 🙂 I hope you had a wonderful day too. XO
Mom and dad are huge fans of repurposing. Much of what we have around our place has been apartment left-behinds or throwaways from other people.
They should join Sabi Saturday. XO
The kitty is whimsical and that is a great repurpose idea. Fingers still crossed for Sammy ♥
Thank you 🙂 I can’t wait for the appointment Monday, I am worried about my boy. XO
That’s a super cool dust cover!!!
Thank you 🙂
What a great idea using the wine glass like that!
The Florida Furkids

Clever use of that glass! Be well, my dear.
Thank you 🙂 You, be well too. XO
Amazing repurpose for a wine glass. Good one!

That is re-purposing with purpose!

Thank you 🙂
I love Redkid. That’s way cool.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥
Thank you 🙂 I hope you have a nice weekend too. XO
What a good way to put an extra wine glass to good use! Thanks for the tip on Redkid!
Thank you 🙂
That was a great way to repurpose that glass. I always hate when I have something like that, which ends up having to get thrown away. Super cute kitty your friend made for you. have a super weekend. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Thank you 🙂 XO
I’m about ready to repurpose The Hubby’s Toyota into a cat hotel, in the backyard! Does that count…lol!
Yes, that is a good idea 🙂
I love your reuse recylce repurpose!!
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you 🙂 XO
That’s a lovely use for the wineglass. You could even use the top as a shelf for another kitty, something soft like crochet or fabric so it doesn’t break if it falls off.
Thank you 🙂 Good idea.
Wow, what a clever use for a wine glass. Even one that isn’t cracked!
Thank you 🙂
What a smart idea to recycle your glass ! Purrs
Thank you 🙂 XO
What a cool use for a wine glass!
Thank you 🙂
Great idea about the wine glass! It works as dust cover, and it looks very pretty like that 🙂
Thank you 🙂
What a great way to use that cracked glass!
Thank you 🙂
Clever use of a glass! One of my clients broke the bottom off a wine glass, so she turned it upside down and uses it to slide her rings on the stem when she is washing dishes. It sits on the windowsill over the sink.
Whoa! That’s the site I used to make my Seuss art from years ago that I repurposed this year. I’d almost forgotten. TW used to be a fine dumpster diver but no one throws anything good in the Refuse Room anymore.
I guess I am late, I just discovered it. 🙂
Cute!
Purrs xx
Athena and Marie
Thank you. 🙂 XO
MOL…the Thing 1 and 2 are so cute 😀 Lovely kitties and you’re an inventor of the idea of the glass, very handy! Extra Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday???
Thank you. 🙂 XO
What a creative idea for the wine glass!!
Thank you. 🙂
What fun Dr. Seuss art! And this is such a perfect way to use otherwise unused wine glasses. I don’t drink, but I somehow still have some wine glasses in my cabinets. Now I know what I can use them for!
I don’t drink either, but my hubby makes wine and loves to have people test it.
That’s a great idea for that wine glass.
Thank you. 🙂
