Hi everyone, I am pleased that my blog has been steadily growing these past 2 months. Thanks to my loyal readers and welcome to my new ones. Today is behavior day and I have noticed Snowball does something very strange that none of my other cats do. I am curious to know if anyone else’s cat does this too.
It appears that Snowball is too lazy to take a bath herself so she makes the other cats do it for her. This isn’t a mutual grooming kind of thing, she waits until one of the cats starts licking themselves and then she goes over and sticks her head wherever they are licking. It is funny to watch, its like a light bulb goes off in her head when she sees one bathing. Unfortunately, Phoebe and Joanie are the only two that are willing to help and they only do her head. Needless to say, Snowball will be seeing the groomer again soon.
Marc Maron is on tonight and I must admit that the show is kind of boring plus he hasn’t been showing cats. I will continue to support it though because his production company is Boomer Lives in memory of his cat.
Have a nice day and make sure you stop by tomorrow as I am starting another contest.
I’ve never heard of a cat that does this before. I hope the visit to the groomer goes alright, anyway.
I haven’t seen my cats washing each other – they tour the neighbourhood together and often eat together but they don’t sleep together either.
Mine don’t sleep together either, there are 4 on the bed sometimes, but not touching.
My sister, Tobias, is ALWAYS askin’ me to licka-da-top-o-her-head. Thing is, I’VE GOT MY OWN LAUNDRY TO DO! She just doens’t understand. *sighs*

I understand Nerissa, kitties have a lot to clean.
Sounds to us like Snowball might be a little lazy. And you know that all cats are opportunists. All kidding aside, Mom says she has never encountered this before except for in very elderly cats. Good luck with the groomer. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Snowball is only about 4 or 5, I think she is lazy 🙂 I haven’t scheduled an appointment yet, but the last time it went well.
How old is Snowball? She may lack the agility to really bend and stretch and reach all the places she needs to? That can happen at any age.
Thanks for the suggestion, but she is only 4 or 5 and quite spry- lazy too, I guess.
Mommy and I would love to follow you but we don’t do Google +. We will try to keep up otherwise. xox
My blog is wordppress so you should be able to follow through there- thanks for reading 🙂
