Happy Friday everyone and Happy Halloween! Today is book day and Lucy has a cute little book to recommend. I have a different kind of recommendation instead of a book this week.

Lucy loves Confucius Cat Says by P.R. Mason. It is a quick little read that has lots of wisdom and will give you a chuckle. Lucys favorite lines included “Creativity is crucial in life. That means thinking outside the litter box every day”. Yes, Lucy you have that one down pat.  There was also another about advice being like flea prevention-you don’t want to take it, but would be better off if you did.

The book listed a blog for Confucius, but when I checked it out, he hasn’t written in a long time. I truly wish I had known about cat blogs years ago, I have missed so much.

Black Friday is only a month away. I don’t know if any of you are crazy like me and shop that day. My mom, niece and I go out about 6:30/7 AM so we get good deals, but not the items that they have in limited amounts. I gave up on that after the Furby frenzy of 1998 when I couldn’t score one for my niece. There is a website : https://blackfriday.com/  that will send you emails as they find out about sales so you will know ahead of time to make a plan for shopping. The more money you save, the more you will have to spend on your kitties. Last year, I even scored free reindeer antlers at Petco: 012Phoebe is modeling them here.

  5. Y’all look great! I do remember Confucius, we never heard why they stopped but they used to do Purrs for Peace every Sunday. Have a spooky cool Halloween!

    It’s hard to believe Black Friday is in a month! Our mom stays home that day, it;s just too crazy for her. Cyber Monday is more her style. MOL

  14. I’ve never heard of anyone being a reindeer for halloween! Spooky looks comfy with his black kitty friends.
    Mom generally avoids shopping, especially during the holidays. I don’t mind that because it means more things come delivered in boxes for me!

  15. Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy!!! We are soooooooooooo happy to win the prize! The Human will wear the pin but I insist the toy be given directly to me. I mean, she might enjoy batting it around on the floor of her office between classes, but it is MINE and I do not wish to share. She can get her own toys! THANKS so much, Kitties!     I’ll go check out that website; I may have to look for a good deal on a computer on Black Friday since mine crashed this week.

    1. Computer problems are the worst-especially when you have a blog to write. I hope you find a good price on one.
