Hi everyone! We are joining Create with Joy’s Inspire Me Monday and Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays.
I have a fun and easy project for you today. It is not my own idea, I have seen several versions on Pinterest. I had purchased a bunch of pre-cut fabric to make curtains for Joanie’s camper and for The Great One’s Frozen castle. I had a lot leftover so I thought I would use it up on this scrap wreath. You can use any fabric you want though. I liked this because I am lazy and it was already cut. There were long strips though, so I did cut them down to 7 inches each. luckily the width was fine at 2.5 inches.
All you need is a wire wreath frame. I got mine at Michael’s ( with a coupon). The Dollar Tree has them, but they only had squares and football shaped- I wanted round. You also need a ruler, scissors and the fabric.
A kitty model is useful to have as well. Here is a photo of the almost finished project. You just tie 4 pieces of fabric in each section of the frame. You can make them for different seasons and holidays depending on the colors you choose.
I will post a photo of the finished project later in the week. Rosie will be here tomorrow as Penny insists on a day off.
That’s gorgeous fabric and is going to look awesome!!
Thank you 🙂 XO

Thank you 🙂 They were starting to put some out last week when I was there 🙂
Very nice. Mom made a wreath something like that using different colors of netting cut into strips. Thanks for sharing.

That sounds nice. XO
The activities peeps helped the residents make similar wreaths for one of the patriotic holidays last year, and some are still hanging on the doors!
Loved seeing your kitty model/snoopervisory committee!
That is a great craft for the residents. XO
What a fun and easy project!
It is 🙂
As long as there’s no sewing involved, I might be able to handle this project! Can’t wait to see the end result.
No sewing 🙂
