Hi everyone. We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays.
Joanie and Gremmie hope they are awww.. worthy.
I forgot to take a photo of them with the books I am recommending, and I already returned them to the library.
The Hard Parts: A Memoir of Courage and Triumph by Oksana Masters was sad yet inspirational. The author was born in 1989 with many birth defects caused by Chernobyl. She was given up for adoption and spent her early years in an orphanage. She was adopted by an American woman and eventually became a paralympic athlete competing in 4 different sports.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life was good too. He writes about 7 tools he thinks will help you find your life’s purpose. He has achieved many things he set out to do like win Mr. Universe, be a movie star and be governor of California. One piece of advice is never have a plan B because you won’t try as hard knowing you have a backup. I always thought it was good to have a plan B and C.
Rosie will be here with the latest happenings around here.
Awww. Joanie and Gremmie certainly are awww-inspiring! Interesting books! XO

I’m here! I subscribed again! For some reason I am not getting any notifications as I used to do until several weeks ago. Joanie, Gremmie, you both are Awww worthy every single day!
I am trying to figure out why that happened with the emails- sorry. XO
Joanie and Gremmie are an awww worthy pair! Happy Monday!
Thank you. 🙂 XO
You’re welcome, Ellen.
Chaplin: “Joanie and Gremmie are definitely awww-worthy! Look at Gremmie’s little toes!”
Charlee: “I suppose it’s okay not to have a Plan B as long as your Plan A works out. And if you have no Plan B and your Plan A doesn’t work out then you’re probably not going to be writing a book, or at least, not selling one to anybody …”
Good point. 🙂
They are most awww worthy.
Sounds like a couple of great reads.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

Thank you. 🙂 XO
What a sweet picture of Joanie and Gremmie.
Thank you. 🙂
Joanie and Gremmie are always aww-worthy, with or without books.
Both of these do sound good, but yes, have a back-up plan for some things in life. Maybe not your one or two major, main goals, but other things, the everyday stuff can go sideways and having a plan B can help in those smaller situations.
Thank you. 🙂 Yes I can understand the need for a plan B a lot of the time.
Do the girls want to come to my Pawty? Boys can too. You have the coordinates but if you want the terrific bus..let Katie know and listen for the meow horn. Some of the kitties are staying over night.
Yes, all 14 kitties want to come- 10 girls, 4 boys. XO
Yes they are awww worthy. So cute.
Thank you. 🙂
You’re both always awww…worthy!!!
Thanks for the book review. I’m like you, I thought it was a good idea to have multiple backup plans but Arnold says no. Who knew, right? I’ve been doing it all wrong!
You’re welcome. 🙂 XO
