Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Monday.

Rosie wanted to pose with the books I am currently reading. I usually stick to non-fiction, but BellaDharma’s mum recommended a thriller, Mirrorland by Carol Johnstone,  so I thought I would give it a try and I am glad I did.

I am also reading a self help book, Percolate: Let Your Best Self Filter Through by Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino and If All the Seas Were Ink: A Memoir by Ilana Kurshan. The author started studying The Talmud ( Book of Jewish law) after her divorce at age 27. It is a nice mix of her life and an education in Jewish Law.

Rosie will be here tomorrow with the latest news from our house. That is, if she comes out of hiding from The Great one and Typhoid Mary being here.

  6. That certainly makes for an interesting combination of reading. But in that regard I believe it expands our minds that way. We look forward to seeing Rosie, and be sure to tell Brody hello for Precious.

  8. Mom is reading a series of short stories…a form she usually doesn’t bother with, And enjoying them too.

  9. Rosie, a good thriller is always a good thing!
    Although I’m currently in deep in a fantasy series: witches, elves, monsters, etc.
    Not my usual fare, yet this was recommended by my librarian, and she was right to say I’d enjoy!

    Charlee: “Our Dada is currently reading a book called ‘Perhaps the Stars’ which is not about celebrities but instead is the story about a global war 400 years in the future. It’s the last book in the series he’s been reading lately, ‘Terra Ignota’.”

  19. I like the idea of percolating. Those old percolators made some of the best coffee ever, maybe if we perc we can be better, too.
