Kutchinsky’s Egg: A Family ‘s Story of Obsession, Love and Loss by Serena Kutchinsky- The author’s father owned a high-end jewelry company in England and built a golden egg as an ode to a Faberge egg, but it ruins the business and his family. The egg got claimed by creditors and disappeared. A fascinating story.
You with the Sad Eyes by Christina Applegate is also interesting. I admire her honesty.
The Meaning of Your Life: Finding Purpose in an Age of Emptiness by Arthur C Brooks- the author is a social scientist and happiness expert. The book includes tests and tips to help one find their purpose. I sure hope it works. I always feel like I lack purpose. I do fell rescuing as many cats as I can is my purpose, but maybe there is something else too.
