Hi everyone. We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays .
Rosie is posing with two of the books I am currently reading.
The Flower Bearers: A Memoir by Rachel Eliza Griffiths is mainly about several losses in the author’s life. One loss is a sense of security after her husband; Salman Rushdie was attacked by a man with a knife at one of his readings. She is an excellent writer and despite being sad, it is a good book.
For You When I Am Gone: Twelve Essential Questions to Ask to Tell a Life Story by Steve Leder is a guidebook to help one write their life story for loved ones. I want to write something for The Great one and her siblings to read someday so I am using this as a guide.
Rosie will be here tomorrow with all the latest. She had to fill in today because Dusty didn’t cooperate with her photo.

Cute picture! Those do sound like interesting books! XO
Thank you. 🙂 They are. XO
That book as a guide as to what one’s life story is that you want to pass along, is a great idea!
Thank you. 🙂 Everyone should do that for their loved ones. XO
You are such a great reader! I think if you ever read fiction you will LOVE The Correspondent. Love the tongue-out pic…
Thank you. 🙂 I will look into it. XO
I love the idea that you’re going to write a book to leave behind for your family……you are an amazing writer and I’m sure it will be treasured by those you are writing it for……..
Love, Pam
Thank you. 🙂 It is mainly so they know how much they mean to me. XO and love to you.
I think Dusty looked quite adorable with her pink tongue sticking out. Sounds like you found two more books that you really enjoy and that’s great. Looking forward to seeing Rosie tomorrow.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
That is a great idea to write your life story for the Great one and siblings, and in time, for their children to read.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Rosie always looks so prim and proper, and that’s a cute pic of Dusty with her tongue out. What a great idea to write your life story for the Great One and siblings.
Thank you. 🙂 Rosie and Dusty thank you. xO
Rosie…what do you have for us tomorrow? I can’t wait! Your name suits you very well, by the way.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
I listened to the audiobook “Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder”, narrated by the author Salmon Rushdie.
What a bizarre and life-changing event for that family.
That is on my library list.
Charlee: “Our Dada remembers when Salman Rushdie got attacked! And he remembers way back when the threats were first issued against him! It must be hard to have to be on your guard for years and years and years.”
Oona: “UNLESS YOU ARE A NINJA LIKE OONA.”
Yes, it must be scary.
Both great shots and two great reads.

Rosie did a great job posing. The books look good too.
Thank you. 🙂 They are.
I would not write my life story for fear of boring the reader.
Everyone has a story to tell and our loved ones want to read it.
Those books sound pretty darn good!
They are. 🙂
Sweet photos. 🙂 And those look like great reads. I think it’s awesome that you want to write something for family. Hugs, my dear.

I think you writing something for TGO and her Sibs is a wonderful thing. The memories are dear.
Even on the best of days and times, I can’t read anything sad. Need to get past the current state of our US. Rosie, you did an excellent job of introducing your Mom’s book choices.
Thank you. 🙂 I can’t handle sad either. XO
Cute photos. That is a great idea to write your life story for family.
Thank you. 🙂
The thought crossed my mind to keep a journal for my family when I’m gone someday, which is a long, long time off, but just can’t get motivated to do it. My days are so repetitive that I feel l haven’t nothing to share. Still the idea lingers. Maybe I should do it anyhow. Thanks for sharing your reading material. Have an awwwesome week, Ellen! xo
I am doing it to write about my times with the kids to help them remember the fun we had. You should do it. XO
