Aww…Monday

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and The A-Z Blogging Challege, today is the letter H.

Hope the Easter Bunny was good to everyone. Rudy is happy with the catnip carrot he scored.

For the letter H, I should be decluttering Holiday items, but I don’t want to. Each season I go through things and donate ones I no longer use, but I love my decorations ( especially Halloween and Christmas) and they give me joy so despite the fact that they take up a big portion of a spare bedroom upstairs, I have no plans to get rid of any.

And one more H- the blog, Happy Organized Life is hosting a free declutterathon challenge the last week of April, you can register by clicking here.

Rosie will be here tomorrow with the latest news from our house.

  1. You absolutely ARE the “Decorating Queen” Miss Ellen – your house is always decorated for every occasion so OF COURSE you need a room to store all of that in. That would be a tough room to make clutter-free!

  2. Decluttering is a brilliant idea. I really need to do more of it but haven’t in a long time. I seem too busy with other things to pay any attention to the junk some days. 🙂

  3. Rudy is adorable! You put your decorations to good use, so I can’t see a reason why you’d want to get rid of any! Keep enjoying them. xo

  4. It’s difficult for me to get rid of or donate holiday decorations because they bring on fond memories. I store them in their own bins so they don’t get crumpled or broken.

  5. Ellen, you don’t have to get rid of your decorations. That’s the luxury of being able to say no and not having to answer to anybody else. Your decorations and decorating for holidays is a true joy for you and others so cross decorations off the list. Glad the Easter Bunny gave Rudy a catnip carrot… he had to love the color!

  6. It sure is festive at your house ~ sweet photos ~ of sweet kitty and Easter Bunny ~ Xo

Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

  8. Awww, so adorable. Love it that you love your decorations. We don’t have any decorations anymore. My clutter was Christmas. We had tons of Christmas thing. All gone. I’m okay with that.

I’m sorry I’m so late. Workers showed up this morning to tear out our kitchen for the last part of the remodel and we had no idea they were coming. We worked our behinds off cleaning out all the drawers and cabinets.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to you. ♥

  9. I think you declutter things that don’t bring you joy and holiday decorations definitely bring joy.
    Happy easter.
    Visiting from A to Z

  10. Hope you had a great Easter too dear furriends🐣🥚🐰 We can’t declutter our Holiday stuff either. Each thing has a memory attached to, even if it is broken, we keep it, like a missing ear of a bunny that Granny made of clay with her oldest grandson, when he was about 4 or 5 years. He’s 20 now😸Extra belated Easter Pawkisses to all of you🐾😽💞
