Hi everyone! Today is the 1st Anipal Appreciation Day! Invented by Bacon and the beautiful badge was designed my Sammy K’s Mom.

Please don’t be offended if I didn’t list you, this is to bring attention to some that may not be as known as others.

It is also Presidents’ Day in the USA. I attempted to make a stove-pipe hat , but something went wrong. 004 My Sammy is a trooper though and still posed for me.

Phoebe is starving at the moment and not looking forward to her dental. I am tempted to give her a snack and reschedule being that it is -9 degrees. I hate to make her go out in the cold even though I will warm the car up. I don’t want her to get sick from a chill like Mr. Chips- does anyone know who that is? My Mom always refers to him when it is cold. I think it is time to end this post – I just spent 10 minutes looking up Mr. Fipps ( darn cold meds) then I remembered it was Chips.

    1. You’re welcome, you have a great blog and I want everyone to read it 🙂 Phoebe’s dental was postponed because the vet heard a murmur that wasn’t there 2 weeks ago.

  4. Thanks for pawticipating in Anipal Appreciation Day! Those three are NEW to me and it’s always fun to meet new peeps! Hope your cold gets better soon AND hope that everybody doesn’t get sick in this ridiculously cold weather. WE have snow and ice today- YUCK…..don’t have to go anywhere though…..I hope the dental work goes ALRIGHT…..be careful out there!

    1. I learned about some new blogs today too, this was a great idea and your Mom made a lovely badge. We are still sick, but getting better. Phoebe is holding off on her dental until after an ultrasound.

    Phoebe, we’ll be purring and praying for you today! Your dental will be done and over with before you know, and then both you and your mom can rest easy. Purrs!

    1. I like this day too, I found more blogs to follow 🙂 Thank you for the purrs and prayers for the dental. It got postponed because she has a murmur so I opted to wait for an ultrasound.

  12. Poor Phoebe – hopefully she isn’t making you feel too guilty! Negative nine is *really* cold!! If you take her, maybe put a towel or small blanket in her carrier and/or on top of her to help her stay warm on the way to and from the car. I always do that for my babies anytime it is cold. Hugs!

    1. I prewarmed a blanket for her and I warmed the car up too. And she went for nothing, she has a murmur so we are waiting for an ultrasound. XO

    1. It sure was cold and tomorrow it is going to be 50 degrees- only in New England 🙂 Phoebe has to wait for an ultrasound now because a murmur was detected.

  26. Anipal Appreciation Day is such a wonderful occasion and mes too would has been celebrating if (glares at Mommy) Mommy paid a little more attention to mes and les to her work computer!
