Friendly Fill-Ins Week 92

Before we get started, we want to offer our condolences to our friends on the loss of their sweet dog, Mr. Jack Freckles.

My co-host, Annie of McGuffy’s Reader and I can’t seem to find a linky that works on non-business wordpress blogs. We apologize that you have to go to a separate page to add your link. You can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate.

My answers:
1, The Winter Olympics is going to to mess up all my regular scheduled programs. As Phoebe used to say, phooey!
2. I think the most romantic movie (and book) is The Notebook. And it doesn’t even have Nicolas Cage in it.
3.Recently, I had an odd experience when my friend’s daughter who has psychic abilities told me that my Dad wanted me to watch my health. I feel fine so I am not sure what he meant.
4. I believe that love is all around , you just need to keep your heart open.
We are also joining Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.
Millie says hello. His blue eye always shows up red.

  1. Millie’s eyes are so totally cool even when the flashy box isn’t flashing! As for your psychic friend – pay attention and just take extra good care of yourself because THEY KNOW!

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. So sorry about Mr. Jack Freckles. Millie’s eyes look cool! And Phooey, awwww, that’s really cute. ~hugs~ The linky isn’t really an issue as far as I’m concerned. ~nods~ But I’ll answer here because I need to write rather than get into a big blog hop. Oh, and Nic Cage should have been in “The Notebook”. Heh…

    1. The Winter Olympics are something I watched as a kid. Now, I don’t care about them, though I wish the athletes all the best.
    2. I think the most romantic movie (or book) is my ‘BloodMoon’ series. Heh…
    3. Recently, I had an odd experience when I realized my character’s early love interests become unwilling villains years later. The siblings ‘gave it away’ with their hair and eye color when I was working on their origin story yesterday, which was super cool.
    4. I believe that love from my cat Luna was the soulmate type.

    Be well!

    1. Nic Cage in the Notebook would have made it even better 🙂 Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. XO

  3. I am sorry to read about Mr. Freckles. It is so hard to lose a loved one.

We will figure out what to do about a link up. I think Inlinkz may be the nicest looking one, but we need to check it out more.

I would love to meet a psychic like that. I always felt that there is a message meant for me. I have never met someone who could tell me what it is. I have been told I am an Empath, and I believe it. Maybe the message will be what to do with it!

    HUGS, my sweet friend.

    1. I hope you can meet a psychic someday too. There are a lot of phonies, but I do believe some have the gift like the Long Island Medium and my friend’s daughter. XO

  4. My stepdad just told us he is going to spend the next two weeks doing nothing but watching the Olympics–so I guess you and he are on opposite ends of the Olympics-enjoyment spectrum! Millie’s eyes look pretty cool with the flash 🙂

  5. We are so sorry to hear that Mr. Jack Freckles made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for sharing the news. We left our condolences on his blog.

As always, fantastic fill-ins! I don’t have cable anymore (I just live off of Netflix these days), but I do remember growing up and feeling so torn about the Winter Olympics. On one hand, I really did enjoy watching some of the events, but on the other hand, they really messed up the scheduling of some of my favorite shows. To catch the Olympics these days, I just invade my parents’ house, because they still have cable TV.

    Happy Friday!

  6. We are sad about Mr. Freckles needing to go to the Bridge. He will be very missed.

Great fill-ins this week, and yes, we agree with number 1. We watch the Olympics but it will mess up our Mom’s usual schedule of doing anything!

  7. Love all your answers as always. I’ll join in next week. On a cruise this weekend.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday. My best to your peeps. ♥

  8. Huh, that message from your ‘Dad’ is interesting. When was the last time you went to the doc, to have a full exam? I would take that one seriously, but that’s me. Haven’t seen “The Notebook” but I read the book…

  9. Hi Ellen! InLinkz works well on personal WordPress and Blogger blogs. It is the one I use for Ten Things of Thankful. It is also inexpensive and easy!

They Olympics definitely changes up the tv viewing schedule, but some of it is fun to watch. I wish I had any of those athletic skills and grace!

The Notebook was indeed a wonderful book and movie, I am a Nicholas Sparks fan.

That was an interesting warning message given to you. Maybe he just worries and cares like all parents do. <3

I agree with you totally about love being all around us. I think if we don't feel like anyone loves us it's probably because we have closed ourselves off and aren't reaching out to anyone with love either. It kind of works that way. We have to open the door and let it happen!:-)

I am not joining in this week, but will be back next week with more Fill-Ins. Have a good weekend! XO

    1. I look forward to your answers next week. Thank you for letting me know that InLinks will work on non business wordpress. Have a great weekend! XO

  10. Oh yes, Phoebe and her phooey… 🙂
Great answers. I hope you soon find out what your dad wanted you to know. Agree with Eastside Cats here. Please take care,
    Viola

  11. Phoebe would say phooey! And it is messing up regularly scheduled shows. It seems to lack some pizazz but there is more to come. I like The Notebook. Ellen, just take care of yourself and listen to your inner voice.

  12. Hi, handsome Millie!
We agree … love IS all around … and you see only what’s in your heart. If it’s love … you see love … if it’s anger and hate, you see anger and hate 🙂

  13. I always enjoy these posts. Your answers are always a lot of fun to read. I’m also a big fan of The Notebook. I’ve read the book and watched the movie more than once. And I never get tired of the story!

  14. Do the Olympics mess up your viewing because it displaces the shows you want to watch or you miss them to catch the games?

We need more open hearts in this world.

  15. Millie, that photo makes you look a bit scary. Our mom agrees with #1, but she loves the winter Olympics. Mom says that she often can’t think of a good completion for the Fill-Ins when she’s doing them. She said “Titanic” is definitely romantic, but she probably would have answered, “The Way We Were.” Thanks for letting us know about MJF. We saw this when you posted it last night and were able to visit. We loved this woofie. We will feature him on Sunday. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  16. During the Olympics, my husband insisted on watching reality cop shows. I don’t care if I ever see another person pulled over for whatever and turn out to have drugs. 🙂

  17. Oh, dear…I even missed this post you dedicated to Angel MJF…sigh… Thanks so much for posting about him.

(No time to do fill-ins until the newest one arrives later this week…if I can find the time. Sheesh, I get so bogged down in all kinds of things lately.)
