Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone! I am so mad at mom, she locked me in the bathroom for 5 hours* on Friday. The cable guy was here and she said I am a flight risk- phooey!

Grammie will be here Monday to stay with us while mom and dad are out for a few hours. I love her so very much! I am sure she will cater to my every whim except going outside.

My selfie this week is for Free Tony. I read about it on Caren and Cody’s Blog and you can too. I posted it on Twitter @aldf

I am joining The Cat on my Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

*Phoebe was only in the bathroom for 45 minutes, for her own protection.

  1. Phoebe, I got locked in a closet for 2 days not long ago (my mom says it was only 2 minutes and was an accident, but I’m not buying it). Anyway, thank you so much for helping spread the word about Tony! Purrs, Thimble

  2. Wow, great that you chose your selfie with Caren and Cody’s #TinyTigers4Tony !!

45 minutes is a very very long time! Unbelievable rude! Good thing that your Mom and Dad are leaving soon so that you get Granny – a nurse qualified for dealing with us delicate felines.

  3. Great selfie! We read about poor Tony – what a horrible way to live a life…..hopefully he will be FREE soon! Meanwhile – Happy Sunday!

    Love, Teddy

  4. Even if it had been five hours, i’m sure you would have had food and water and a litter boxed moved into there, and it’s hardly a life sentence. Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday!

  5. Phoebe, better to be shut up in the bathroom than having you escape out in the big world. We are glad you stayed safe. You all have a great day.

  6. Phoebe you and I share the same exaggeration DNA. MOL MOL MOL
I am not as much a flight risk just an in your face you are in my space risk when there are repairman. Not that I like them I just not want them here and I think I can scare them away

  7. Great selfie for Tony, I hope they release him very very soon….I got locked into the Place for 4 whole days, and was fed nothing but mice and cream!…. Oh hang, the peep says that was only a dream! Drat, one can only hope, huh?

  8. I read about Tony on Athena’s blog. It is very sad, and I hope he gets released into a sanctuary.
    Your selfie is sweet.
I get the same problem on about 3 WordPress blogs. It only seems to happen if they have the tick box to confirm I am not a spammer. It doesn’t happen with all though.

  9. Mom did the right thing and you’ll get over being in jail for five hours. I’m just saying.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your smart mom. ☺

    1. Thank you my sweet purrince, you are the best. That is hard time, I would go crazy locked someplace for all that time. I did have water and a litter box and mom did bring me food, but still, it wasn’t fun. I will give your love to Grammie tomorrow and I will have some treats for you too. XO and paw kisses and nose rubs and lots of love.

        1. Yes, I have all your photos in my album and some on my bulletin board. She needs to frame one for me though and put it in my hidey spot where I like to snooze. XO and all my love

    1. That is where I usually do too, but the cable guy had to set up a box in the bedroom and KaTwo is in the other bedroom and she is mean.

  11. Phoebe, I may be in one soon as mommy has to get the carpet cleaned. Maybe we can use our tunnels and visit.

  12. I have been tweeting to Tony and Admiral (who are in the WLF berets as well as me as they are members too). for a long time. Lucy Liberty too. It is a terrible thing for them both.

  13. I’m afraid I have to agree with your Mom. We’ve got some around here that are potential flight risks if a door is left open. It’s terrifying for us Moms. Especially since we’re in the woods with domesticated and wild animals! Praying for Tony’s release real soon.

  14. I hate to say it, Phoebe, but I agree with your mom here. I’ve secured my fur babies a few times in a room because I worry they’ll run out and I’ll lose them. Your mom is doing it ’cause she loves you and wants to keep you safe!

  15. Dear Ms Phoebe, I too was locked in the bathroom for 5 hours (15 minutes)! I, Marvelous, was batting at my Mommy’s bathrobe sash and closed the door on myself. I was a little miffed and gave my Mommy a talking to when she opened the bathroom door!
And I wanted to tell your Mommy how wonderul I thought her button guitar was!

  16. Forty-five minutes or five hours…it’s all too long! We hope your grammie brings you lots of treats to make up for your incarceration, Phoebe. Thanks for being a hopper. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  17. Our Angel Suki got herself locked in the closet for ten days..real time, not kitty time…it was an accident. she was about 10months old and it was cool in there, she had allthe scarves and hats to nest on…and the floor was her litter box, ugh:(
We found a dead mousie in there, so that must have sustained her…

Glad your five hour ordeal was shorter!
Hope you and your Grammie had a meowvellous time!
