Hi everyone! I am having a great week. I got to see Grammie on Friday and look what she brought me us. I love her so very, very much.

Mom has gone crazy again and chopped up 7 more books. Plus she has been chasing us around the house to get photos of our Halloween costumes. I must say that I did a great job with mine- they will all be on display tomorrow. Look at all this nip Mom is drying and she has it in the dining room which is off-limits to us- phooey!

“The Great One” is going to be one on Tuesday. She has really cut into my Grammie time, but I feel bad for her because my Mom sings Soft Kitty to her all the time. And you know how bad my Mom sings. So I got her a birthday gift, a soft kitty with Penny’s voice singing ( not our Penny, the one from Big Bang Theory).

 

I decided to have a giveaway for The Day of the Dead even though we don’t celebrate it. We celebrate All Soul’s Day and All Saints Day, but they all recognize our departed loved ones.

  3. Ooh, one of our favorite flavors of Party Mix. Our dad buys those big containers for us. Mom says that she’s never seen that much nip, and we can assure you that we haven’t either.   9. This is such a fun and festive post, Phoebe! You know, the kitties around here get “Soft Kitty” sung to them all the time. They never seem impressed, but it happens anyway. That is quite a stash of nip you’ve got there! And, we love the prizes for the Day of the Dead giveaway. How fun! As for that “creature”, it is adorable, Phoebe, and I’m sure a great friend. We’re looking forward to seeing your costumes tomorrow!

  10. Oh my, Phoebe, how do your rents eat with all that nip hanging down? That’s a veritable jungle (ha ha!).
    We love Day of the Dead. Mommy has Day of the Dead throw pillows, a picture, Oaxacan wood carvings and a statue.
    We can’t wait to see all your Halloween costumes.

    1. The stores are finally having more Day of the Dead items/decorations. My folks eat in the livingroom on tv trays- like rednecks 🙂 MOL!

  18. Aaaaaaaw Brody’s no creature. Him’s a handsum tommy boy brofur bootyful. Sorry your grammaw time has been cut, but we can purromiss she still luvs ya’ da same. Now dat’s a lot of nip!!! Mommy’s eyes got all big and glassy over your mommys plants. She used to have most of those, she luvs da purrayer plant, but we lost everythin’ durin’ dat ‘pawrtment flood. 🙁 Oh well.   29. A cat-nip mat? That’s a good one. I don’t think I’d like it in my home, as it would likely cause fights, but it’s a good idea all the same.
