Hi everyone! Today is behavior day and I am never at a loss for topics with behavior-most of it naughty. As you all know my Lucy is a challenge. She always thinks outside the box, but now she has come up with something better.
Lucy is not a real fan of other cats. There are a few that I think she likes, but she will still swat at them or hiss if they get to close to her. On Christmas Eve, one of my hubby’s cousins bring us all kinds of catnip mice and mats- a very special treat. Well, I still had one mat set aside so I figured after all the flea turmoil lately that they would enjoy it. Most of the kitties took turns with it and Lucy saw them so guess what she did? If you guessed pee on it then you are right. I guess she thought she would put a damper on things.
I have applied for casting on Jackson Galaxy’s : My Cat From Hell for several of my kitties, but never get chosen. This time, I got an email saying they were not filming in my area. No matter what Lucy does, I still love her and don’t get mad at her.She is 15 and someday I will miss the messes. She is also very cuddly and sleeps between my hubby and I for most of the night.Plus she lets me dress her up in hats/costumes and take photos. Have a nice day everyone! Tell your mom earplugs are the only solution for snoring 🙂
Carl pees on everything, and always has. We can’t have kitty beds, kitty blankets or the like, they are soft litter boxes to him, and he prefers newspaper to real litter boxes. Like you, we just put up with it here, humor him with his own newspaper and are thankful he doesn’t think people beds are really big litter boxes.
Lucy has actually used the bed a few times over the years, but those times she had an infection. Puppy ads are fun to pee on too, you should see if Carl likes those.
Poor Lucy – she thinks that peeing on stuff will magically make her an only cat! Unfortunately, it does not work that way.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Jackson Galaxy came to your area? I think he (or his production company) chooses cities that are well known and “hip.” Which leaves out a LOT of places.
It would be nice for Jackson Galaxy to come out here, with 15 cats he could fix lots of problems. Ware, MA is definitely not hip-LOL.
Oh No. MOL Mommy sez at least meez pees on da pawdee box room floor. Makes fur purretty easy clean up, but hers wishes me wuld go back to usin’ da pawdee box all da time. Meez finkin’ ’bout it. Maybe aftew da stinch of all da dog pee is gone fwum ow pawtment me will. 🙂 Weez will see. MOL

Angel Céleste was our pee-queen : she did it every time she was annoyed ! It would be interesting to hear what Jackson would say about a 15 cats-house ! Purrs

Lucy sounds like our Zoey. We would love to have Jackson Galaxy visit us, but if you’re not in the Los Angeles or New York area, it seems, you’ll never get chosen.
I am sure you love your Zoey no matter what she does, like I do Lucy.
Oh yeah… the peein’ on the nip toy so no one else wants it trick. I have an auntie who does that, too. MO– USES!

Miss May Ling LOVES to pee on the floor (*sigh*)–I bought a couple bed-incontinence pads and keep one beside a litter box, and 9 times out of 10 she’ll pee there and NOT anywhere else. We’ve tried everything…I think she’s simply not a fan of peeing in the box. The pads are washable and I’ve been using the same ones for nearly 2 years, they really last.
That is a good idea, I should get those instead of disposable.
