Happy  Mancat Monday everyone! Today is fun and games day and here is some fun for you. I know Phoebe already showed you her flat Phoebe that she sent to her purrince for his birthday:

I have been wanting some flat cats since seeing the photos from BlogPaws. I asked around and there are places that make them for you like pancakepets  http://www.pancakepets.com/order/ , I am sure they are the sturdiest, but I can’t afford the $50 plus $15 shipping. Sammy’s Mom ( https://onespoiledcat.wordpress.com/ ) told me about Walgreens cardboard print outs. For a 9 by 11 cardboard photo it is $14.99, but they had a coupon for half off so I got one for Phoebe and one for Sammy.

Sammy is part of the Flat Scouts so he needed a flat Sammy to travel this summer. Here it is: 013He just needs his Dad to cut it out and contact paper him. I also had one of Phoebe made to so she can take a day off once in a while and not pose for photos. Next thing you know, Joanie is going to want one of her tummy and Lucy will want one for book review days.

    Meowmy is workin alot this week, so we will have to pass on the fill in, even though it sounds like a lot of fun…sheesh, even now her inbox has ovfur 500 messages…yikes! She had ovfur 30 blogs too to comment on…now she wants to go to her night-night land:)

    1. 500 emails- yikes, I get upset when I have 20. I hope she can get caught up and get some sleep.

  6. M and D took a float me to ALaska one spring on a cruise ship. It was fun.. We were entertaining and hosting a stuffie pal from Germany and wanted to show him a good time. M just took one of my pictures and turned it into a 8 x 10 and took that instead of the real me.

    1. That was a great idea. I bet you liked the cruise, they have lots of shrimp and seafood 🙂

  8. My mum made flat cats of me and Eric a few years ago. The trouble was she didn’t choose the photos very carefully and I looked twice the size of Eric when it was really the other way round.

  12. I’ve always thought the flat cats are so cool! What a neat thing that Walgreen’s does cardboard portraits. I didn’t know that. Sammy’s flat cat is really cute!

  18. Pawsum flat cats. Weez not had a chance to even stawrt finkin’ ’bout it. Mommy will have to figger sumfin’ out fur me cuz weez not have da gween papers to buy one. Have a gweat day.

    1. If you have a printer, you can just print one out and glue her to cardboard. That is basically how we made the Phoebe that went to her purrince. I had my hubby cover with contact paper to keep her a little sturdier.

  23. A friend of ours made flats of us for BlogPaws this year which was really nice of her and really cool for us! We got to go to Nashville but didn’t have to deal with all the dogs and heat and humidity! 🙂

    1. That is the way to go 🙂 I wish I could make a flat of me to send grocery shopping.

  24. I love the way flat Phoebe rolls off the tongue. 🙂 I work for a print shop and we can print one on a heavy 12 x 18 paper for about $2. You just need to cut it yourself. If you want it even sturdier, you could glue a blank sheet behind it before cutting.

  25. Great flat cats. My mom is working on getting dad to print a flat me. Then I will need to be but on sturdy board and sealed, THEN the fun begins. I hope to be able to visit you Sammy my pal.

  26. Mom needs to do the flat thing for Mau. She found a couple of photos that might work, but she’s afraid they will be really blurry when blown up. She plans to use Walgreens. It’s hard to tell here, but do you think Phoebe is blurry? We know Siddhartha loved getting that photo for his birthday.     1. Mine look good, no blurriness 🙂 They usually have a little mark near the sizes that won’t come out good. We hope Mau will visit us 🙂
