Hi everyone! I am still keeping a low profile. Everyone was here Sunday, so I was in hiding and you never know when a kid is going to show up.
I hope your Easter was better than mine. I think the Easter Bunny needs some elves to report back to him like Santa does. It is not fair that I am super good and the orange idiots are super bad, but we all get the same thing for Easter. There were 3 carrots and 2 bags of treats for 13 of us. That bunny is a bit of a cheapo too.
Then I found an enormous golden egg, it was almost half the size of me. And mom said I couldn’t keep it- it was for the Easter egg hunt for The Great One and Typhoid Mary. What ever happened to finders’ keepers? Mom gave me this small golden egg as a constellation prize, but it just isn’t the same. The big golden eggs were gifts from Joanie to the kids. I want to know how Joanie has money to always have gifts for the kids. I would love money to buy a cell phone or tablet. The Kitties Blue have their own tablet, I think I should have one too.
Rusty knocked everything off Dad’s end table and spilled his water. And he spilled part of a bowl of water too. And he knocked Mom’s books off her floating bookshelf right onto Rudy. He is out of control. Everyone else is pretty good, almost as good as I am.
Please let me know if anyone has the address for the Easter Bunny so I can suggest the elves to him.
We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop
We are also participating in The A-Z Blogging Challenge and today is the letter I. I for inherited items. Over the years, we all inherit belongings from loved ones. I know it is very hard to let go of things that belonged to them, but I am sure they wouldn’t mind if we only kept a few things that make us think of them. I have my grandfather’s robe and hat and a few pieces of depression glass that belonged to my grandmother. You can also repurpose items like the bear I had made from my sister’s shirt for her grandson and the quilts that are being made for the granddaughters.
I know it seems cheap to you but be glad you got something.
I guess. XO
Rosie, you have covered it all, as usual! Those boys do sound pretty rowdy! It’s nice to have the inherited keepsakes. I will one day have to make some decisions about which ones to keep, myself. XO
Thank you. 🙂 They sure are. XO
Don’t feel too badly off, Rosie, petcretary was working along with being stressed out about her fridge, and even though we posed nicely for pictures, that EB dude didn’t even *come* to our den! Sheesh!
I know what your mom means about finding it hard to take away some of those inherited items…
If you had a cell phone you could ring the Easter Bunny! It sounds like Rusty is a tearaway!
I would love a cell phone. I could watch my you tube string videos on it without Tuffy interfering. XO
Rosie, it’s a hard life, but somebody has to live it, haha. I’m kidding, you really get the short end of the carrot, it’s plain to see. But think about how your very articulate writing and gossiping skills run circles around all the rest of those no-good kitties. A brilliant gabfest, thank you.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Well now, sounds like the Easter Bunny DID visit you with eggs and carrots and treats but add to the mix the kids and Rusty being out of control (!) and you have a messy and noisy Easter! However I know that with 13 cats you’re bound to have a LOT going on even when it isn’t Easter. I’m thinking you will never run out of things to report on Rosie!
Hugs, Teddy
Thank you. 🙂 ALways something happening here. XO
Dear sweet Rosie, what an Easter you had. And of course it sounds like Rusty was in it deep himself. Sorry about the lack of treats. Easter is a special human celebration, but little ones, hooman and kitties, should get fun treats in a large unending baskie. Better luck next year. Precious
Thank you. 🙂 Brody sends his love. XO
I know how it is when company comes and you want to hide out until they are gone. Wish you could have kept the giant golden egg.
haha Rusty – he’s becoming a favorite of mine, he is so much like me, knocking things over. 🙂
Please give me your address and I will mail Rusty to you- don’t tell my mom though. 🙂 XO
I agree Rosie! You need to talk to that Easter Bunny!
You should get some recognition for being the good cat!
Purrs, Julie
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Rosie, I think we cats out here looking in your windows each day for news of you (oh MY!) should sign a petition that finders keepers IS a rule not to be broken! (but that could work against us).
A petition. I like that. XO
Wow, lots of happening on Easter at your house, Rosie. Yeah, the Easter Bunny sounds like he could use some help.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Rosie, those orange kitties better behave and learn to be good like you. I’m sorry the Easter Bunny didn’t see what a good kitty you are. Perhaps, he needs to brush up on his Easter Bunny 101 manual.
Thank you. 🙂 I agree. XO
A great vent Rosie. You should have a tablet and you tell mom I said so. If Kitties Blue has one then you should too. You made me chuckle more than once.
Sounds like Rusty is a handful. I had a visual on his antics.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
Thank you. I am glad you understand. XO
Great report, Rosie! Very thorough.
Thank you. 🙂 I try. XO
Rusty kept things enlivened!
A little too much. 🙂
I like the advice on inherited items. Lots to report Rosie, lots! Kinda sounds like cat chaos there for Easter and I was worried you weren’t going to take a breath there for a second Rosie. EveryBODY has to let it all out now and then!
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, I had 2 weeks worth of venting to do. XO
LOL!
Rosie, the Easter bunny has always given smaller gifts or just candy. I’m not sure how it happened that Santa does big stuff and he does small stuff, but there it is. Tradition.
Repurposing or keeping only a few special mementos is a good idea. When she knew she was sick, Sweetie’s mom cut up all her dresses and made quilt tops, but that’s as far as she got. His sister later had them finished and each of the three children got a quilt made from their mom’s dresses.
That was very thoughtful of her. XO
Great post Rosie. Sounds like you need a rest after such a busy weekend with Rusty and visitors.
Thank you. 🙂 I sure do. XO
That’s a good idea about the Easter Bunny Elves, I hope you get it to the Easter Bunny right away!
Thank you. 🙂

Her daddy is her prince. 🙂 XO
Life is so unfair Rosie 🙁
There sure was lots going on at your place for Easter, Rosie! Sorry the Easter Bunny didn’t bring you more — you should TOTALLY get something bigger for being so good.
Thank you. XO
Well..in a way you had a great time, hadn’t you, Rosie…MOL🥕 and we all know that you’re a good kitty and some are just …uh…extra naughty🙈Double Pawkisses from all of us🐾😽💞

Sorry you didn’t have a good Easter, Rosie. We’ve been trying to figure out how to get ahold of the Easter Bunny too. Sgt Stripes got a much better gift than we did. Purrs, Snoops and Kommando Kitty
We need to sue that Easter Bunny. XO
Rosie, you are adorable! Holidays can be exhausting for kitties. xo
