Friendly Fill-Ins Week 335

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. Nothing keeps me up at night unless I have too much coffee late in the day.
2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be my vision.  I have been fortunate to not need glasses until 2 years ago and now my vision seems to be getting worse. It is frustrating to need glasses to read directions on a box or the expiration date on a coupon.
3. If I were home along and heard footsteps in the house, I would call my mother-then she could call 911 if I screamed.
4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say- She loved all cats.  We actually already have our gravestone and it doesn’t say that, but I should have it added on or at least a kitty etched on it.

  4. Angel Sammy was a cute Wilbur!

    1.Worrying too much about all kinds of things keeps me up at night.
    2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be smell, because I often do not smell the odors that tell me about stuff I need to know…like stinky this or that! LOL!
    3. If I were home alone and heard footsteps in the house, I would call 911 and hide under the bed or couch…we had a home invasion a few years ago, and now both me and hubby are scared that it might happen again..
    4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say …I haven’t much thought about that, though I did write one for one of my uncles, who passed away about 32 years ago: Alive with Christ. He was a very devout man, and suffered much in his health and during the war years in Europe. Now my Aunt is in that same gravesite. They are both Alive In Christ. I wanted to convey his faith, and maybe get unbelievers to think about that kind of thing.

Supurr fill-ins, and the optometrist told the P.A. that between the ages of 45 to 55 eyesight declines rapidly, she needs driving glasses for distance, but she can’t read the tiny print on bottles anymore, so she always keeps a magnifying glass in the kitchen! LOL

    1. Thinking too much keeps me up at night. My brain needs an off switch!
    2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be hearing- I hate having to say “What did you say?”
    3. If I were home alone and heard footsteps in the house, I would grab my cell phone and get OUT!
    4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say “Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death.” From the Auntie Mame movie.

  24. Sammy was so cute as Wilbur. Adorable! I love your idea of a cat on a gravestone. I’m planning on a cremation so maybe I’ll start hunting for cool urns decorated with cats.

    2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be sight also. I’ve worn Bifocals since I was 40 yrs old.

    4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say: “May the LORD bless you and keep you; May the LORD cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; May the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace. Amen”

  28. If TW has too much sugar, she can’t sleep and then *I* can’t sleep neither. Maybe your eyes aren’t getting worse but you could be getting CATaracts. Thanx for the fill-ins.
