Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.
1. My favorite holiday film is ______________________________________.
2. My favorite Christmas song is ____________________.
3. If you ask me, ’tis the season for _________.
4. _________ is a holiday memory I’ll never forget.
My answers:
1. My favorite holiday film is The Family Man- a Nic Cage one, of course. Another favorite is A Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart as Scrooge.
2. My favorite Christmas song is Happy Christmas. I prefer Sarah McLachlan’s version to John and Yoko’s.
3. If you ask me, ’tis the season for showing your loved ones how much you care. We should always do that, but especially this time of year.
4. Attending Wigilia dinners on Christmas Eve is a holiday memory I will never forget. My maternal grandfather’s side of the family did this until my great aunts got too old to host it. It was the only time of year I got to see those relatives. I saw my grandparents just not the rest of the family.

Prancie looked so precious with that nativity family! 🙂 <3
Thank you. XO
Great fillins. Wonderful flashback picture of Prancie. Have a great weekend!
Thank you. Hope you have a nice weekend too. XO
OH, My! i didn’t know that Prancie was a manger kitty. How sweet. Glad you have a picture to remember her that way.
I am late and rather behind…so I’ll pass on the fill ins this week…but my fave…or rather one of my favorite Carols is In The Bleak Mid Winter…and tons more. I love to hear the Polish carols, they are so musical and nice. I always enjoy the Miracle on 34th Street…I think that is the title?
( really enjoy hearing all the classical music about Christmas…and once I heard some Cuban music from the mid 1700’s It was amazing! Never heard it again, I should research it.
I can actually sing Silent Night in Polish, but my singing is awful. Yes, that is what Prancie’s book is about, her showing up at our manger. XO
I’m so glad that Prancie got to revisit the Nativity.
Me too. XO
That is a lovely flashback with Prancie.

That is a cool picture of Prancie. I don’t know what my favorite Christmas Movie is (Unless Diehard is considered a Christmas movie) but I like The Family Man movie too.
Thank you. Sure, Diehard counts because it is set at Christmas. 🙂

I love that photo of Prancie in the the nativity scene. What a wonderful family tradition for a memory. Wigilia is is similar to the Ukrainian Christmas Eve we used to do. We hope you have a marvellously happy evening.
Thank you. I would love to compare menus. 🙂 XO
Prancie in the Nativity scene brought a lump to my throat. Now i’m off to look up Wigilia dinners.
Thank you. Wigilia is a Polish Chrstmas eve dinner where no meat is served. XO
Those were good answers and that’s a very sweet Angel Prancie memory.

Thank you. XO
What a sweet photo of Prancie. ❤
We love that picture of Prancie💗 What a special remembrance, Ellen. Our favourite Christmas song besides Silent Night, that Granny sings throughout the year🙄 is Queen’s Thank God it’s Christmas from the moment it came out in 1984♪♫♪♫♫♪ Your movie was no surpurrize…MOL…Pawkisses for a wonderful Weekend🐾😽💞
Thank you. I like that song too. XO
Dad is so pleased with your #2 answer. Though there are so many delightful Christmas tunes to cherish, he’s always had a thing for Happy Christmas. He says he still remembers sitting in his car in the parking lot of what used to be the 1704 restaurant at the former Motel 6 in South Deerfield where he worked, listening to it over and over the night John Lennon was shot, and still feels that same feeling (the cold, the light coating of snow at the time, etc.) every time he hears it. He’s never heard Sarah McLachlan’s version of Happy Christmas, and is going to look for it as soon as we’re done commenting.
It is a beautiful song.
Happy Christmas is a great song. I like John Lennon’s version – I haven’t heard the other one.
I like it too, I just prefer the other version. XO
Epic picture of Prancie, truly EPIC! And Supurr fill-ins, another fabulous Scrooge movie to watch this year! MOL
Thank you. Yes, it is a good one. XO
