Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop . Gremmie is thankful he got his little toy back. It had fallen from the cat tree into Emmy’s collection. I had to grab it while Emmy was having supper.

I am thankful that Polar Bear is doing better. Thank you for all the prayers and purrs. I am also thankful that my antibiotics are  helping my hand. He gave me a big chomp when we were giving him fluids last Thursday night which caused my hand to swell. It is much better.

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom:

Sure you can shoot marbles with us,

but when you lose don’t make a fuss.
Little did the boys know they were being tricked
they were about to get their little butts kicked.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. I’m glad Polar Bear is doing better. I’m also glad, and relieved, that your hand is improving – cat bites can be so dangerous!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  3. That is so good about Polar Bear but I am sure sorry he was so over his meds that he did that. A quick recovery for you, Mom Ellen. Loved your poem too. Angel Sammy had to have smiled when he saw it.

    Still praying for Polar Bear.

Watch that hand closely, a cat bite like that landed me in the hospital for a week once.

Fun poem, yes, she looks like she is going to beat their pants off.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 He is still getting them daily, I hope to cut back to a few times a week soon.

  18. I’m so glad that Gremmie got his toy back, and that Polar Bear is doing better! Continued purrs and prayers for sweet Polar Bear! And your poem is perfection, especially that last line. It reminds me of how the simple phrase “girls rule” was incredibly popular when I was a kid. Purrs!
