Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

Sammy is thankful that he graduated from Cat Scout University. I am so proud of him.

I am thankful that I found a wonderful home for the cat in the photo below. Her name is Penelope.  She had a home for 5 years and then her owner passed away. She has lived with someone else for 2 years, but was getting bullied by another cat. My cousin asked me to adopt her and of course my hubby was against it. The more I thought about it, I realized she would get bullied here too so I found her a home with friends where she can be an only cat and get the love she deserves.

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom:

Is this one of my strange dreams?

It sure can’t be as it seems.
Maybe I shouldn’t have had a drink with lunch.
It sure did pack a punch.
*I actually don’t drink, the strongest thing I have is coffee. 🙂
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
