Friendly Fill-Ins Week 201

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link ( see below) to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. My favorite outdoor activity is _____________________.

2. One positive aspect of social isolation is __________________________.
3. It’s fortunate that _________.
4. I have _________ memorized.
My answers:
1. My favorite outdoor activity is metal detecting. My hubby and I have been doing a lot of that lately. So far we have found a cat food can, a beer can, a rusty hinge and a very old nail with a square head.
2. One positive aspect of social isolation is more time for reading and cleaning.
3. It’s fortunate that we have lots of toilet paper.
4. I have prayers memorized. I can’t think of anything else I have memorized. Well, my social sec. number and my hubby’s too.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.
Here are some Flashbacks from Catburry Bunny Auditions of years’ past. This Sunday we will start this year’s auditions:
Angel Prancie
Angel Lucy

  1. Ahhh, time for bunnies again:)

    1. My favorite outdoor activity is taking my camera along when I go for long walks in our semi rural area. There is always something to see and admire or wonder over..

    2. One positive aspect of social isolation is more time with family, friends and of course the furry ones!
    3. It’s fortunate that I am healthy, though being a senior puts me in a high risk group, I have a pretty good record of not getting sick, even when things ‘go through’ our facility. Though I did get sick before all this covid19 stuff…flu and colds are not my norm:).
    4. I have many hymns and Bible verses memorized.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Taking photos outside is fun. Praying you don’t get sick. XO

  2. More time for reading and cleaning is definitely a positive aspect 🙂 Angels Prancie and Lucy’s bunny photos are so adorable xo

  3. I am following you on #4! Angels Prancie and Lucy… so sweet in their bunny ears.
    My Fill-Ins…
    1. My favorite outdoor activity is bike riding for now.
    2. One positive aspect of social isolation is no Dr. appointments.
    3. It’s fortunate that I am a homebody.
    4. I have our socials and my prayers memorized. I couldn’t think of anything else. It’s a miracle I remember the two I mentioned. There must be others! Oh, I do have quite a few passwords memorized… OhMyGosh, for sure!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I have a fairly new bike, I should use it. Good point about Dr. Appointments. Have a nice weekend and stay healthy. XO

  4. Metal detecting sounds like a fun way to pass some time, even if you don’t find much buried treasure. Maybe someday.

    Love your Catburry Bunny Angels!

  5. Angel Prancie and Angel Lucy look very sweet in their bunny ears.
I see my comment did appear yesterday.
I am sure I had the same problem quite some time ago. When I visit I see no other comments and mine doesn’t appear either, but the next day I can see them all including mine. It is as if it is on a 24 hour delay for me.
If I remember correctly it took several months and then corrected itself. Looks like the same thing is happening again.
Don’t worry, it won’t stop me visiting! 🙂

  6. Meoswer Ms. Ellen thank you for hosting this blog hop and reminding me that we have Mr. M’s bunny ears here somewhere…. assuming we find them, I wonder who I can get to volunteer to wear them….
Hope you have a great weekend and find more interesting things… what flavor was the food in that cat tin?

  7. Love the fill-ins and love the angels. So precious.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to you. ♥

  8. Metal detecting sounds like fun; maybe you’ll come across something really fascinating soon. When our friends came over to use their new equipment in our yard, they found a fair amount of coins, from the 1970’s. Our house has been here since the last 1890’s, so that was weird.

  9. Okay. Your list of finds really cracked me up. ~grin~ What sweet angels. ~hugs~ I like this color scheme. My mom would have, too. Good on you for finding the problem and I that poem about siblings is sweet. Be well!

  10. I loved your answers. Your blog comes up two different ways. I am always one for trying something new. love your sweet kitty photos. Metal detecting made me chuckle a bit. When my grandfather passed away he was known for burying his money in his yard. One of my dad’s sister brought a metal detector to find those cans but my father was in charge of his estate and made her share those with her other four sisters and dad. I am very much like my grandfather although I don’t bury my money because I do not have very much! Plus I probably would not find it again. I have heard of people finding very valuable items which would be a nice treat, but intrigued about your nail you located. We love roaming the i=aisles at the home improvement stores. Take care and have a safe and healthy weekend. HUGS across the miles xo

    1. I doubt we will find money, but it is fun unearthing things. Have a nice and healthy weekend. XO

  11. Awww! how cute are those photos heheh! thanks for making me smile 🙂 😻😻😻

I liked your fillins especially no 3 🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻🧻

    Have a TPtastic weekend 🙂

  12. So nice to see cute photos of your angels! Toilet paper seems to be like winning the lottery lately. Our stores are finally starting to stock up again. This time they are placing strict limits. Thank goodness for that! Be well and stay safe. xo

  13. Our mom would love to do metal detecting, but her favorite outdoor activity is finding old marbles. She has a jar full from when she had the house. In fact, she’d find all kinds of things in that 50+ year old yard. This area was developed only about 18 years ago, so no good stuff here.

  14. Fantastic fill-ins! Your #1 really brought back memories. My family had a metal detector for a time when I was a kid, and I used to love using it at the park. And aside from a couple phone numbers, prayers are also probably one of the few things I truly have memorized. That’s certainly not a bad thing to have memorized, though. We’ve been looking forward to your Catburry Bunnies! They’re too cute for words!
