Hi everyone! I have a money saving tip for you. Do you take a lot of photos? My mom sure does. She made an album of Millie photos and one of Prancie. Dad and I like to look at Millie’s photo book together.
The trouble is storing all the photos online. It can cost a lot of money per month for cloud storage. My mom has thousands of photos stored online for FREE. Hers are at Walgreens, but you can store them wherever you can order prints from like Walmart, CVS, Snapfish, etc. All you have to do is order prints once a year and they let you store all your photos on their site. Mom’s photos go back to 2009. How do you store your photos?

Thank you π
Good idea!!
Thank you π XO
My human stores most of them here, on a hard drive.
Good idea π
I have mine on an external HD, but that is a very good tip.
Thank you π XO
Our pictures are on our hard drive.Mum has an external drive too .
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
That is smart. XO
We have a lot of photos at Walgreens too (where we get Cat Scouts cards) but Mom also keeps our photos on a flash drive. It’s important to keep those photos!
Hugs, Teddy
I get Cat Scout cards there too π XO
I don’t store any photographs except on my computer. I don’t really have all that many. We used to use photobucket and then they wanted so much money we left them.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Hug to you and scritches to all the kitties. β₯
Thank you π XO
My cameras are digital, so gone are the day of hard copy photographs with the exception of select ones that I might wish to print which either I can do or send to Walmart or Target online to pickup in the store or sent to me. It’s quite affordable doing that. As far as how I’m storing my photos is, I have a copy on my computer, as well as on a couple of different external hard drives. We have Apple iCloud storage which I need to begin uploading my pix there for safety measure. I’m telling you the nightmare and cost there is to retrieve data from a computer is something I do not want to do again. That happened to us a handful of years ago. Thanks for the tip, though. I had no idea one can use any of these services for long term photo storage. That’s really good to know. Have a furtastic day!
I have to have printed photos, I am old- fashioned. XO
I use iCloud by Apple. Had I known about that which you use, I may have gone ahead with that. I have close to 10,000 pictures. Whew.
Wow! That is more than mom. XO
Good idea about storing photos. We just save them on the computer. You all have a wonderful day.
Thank you π I hope you had a great day too. XO
Good tip sweet Penny, very wise!
Thank you π
I have so many photos. I store them in google photos and some on flickr. Still have tons on the computer that I’m trying to print and put in scrapbooks. Just when I think I’m getting things organized, I take more photos.
One can never have too many kitty photos. XO
I didn’t know this but it’s good to know! I have external hard drives but it would be nice to have an “extra” set kept elsewhere. π – Thanks for stopping by yesterday!
You’re welcome π
We use Snapfish and also back up on CD monthly.
Good idea π
We use iCloud by Apple. We only take digital photos nowadays.
I am old fashioned and like printed ones π XO
I store photos on my computer and an external hard drive. They are also stored on my One Drive.
That is a good idea.
I store photos on my computer, and other places too. What a sweet idea to hold and remember Millie.
Thank you. XO
Penny, I store everything on my Macbook Pro, plus I have an external hard drive as back up. Am considering buying a 2nd hard drive, because one cannot be too careful with precious kitty photos!
Very true. That is a good idea. XO
I had no idea about that type of storage!!! Thank you.
I set mine up on my hard drive. Once a year I move them to a thumb drive.
Hugs cecilia
You’re welcome π That is a good idea too. XO
Great tip! I’m lazy, though, and just have my photographs on my laptop plus saved on an external hard drive. Be well, my dears.
Thank you π
Mom has all our photos on her computer, on an external hard drive and backed up with Carbonite. She’s a little OCD about photos. We order cards from Walgreens too so many photos are there too.
The Florida Furkids
She is so smart. XO
Oh wow! Now that’s a tip! Our mom needs to get on this one.
Thank you π XO
All cat photos on two mirrored external hard drives, and blogpost photos only up in the “cloud” somewhere!
Good idea to have 2 hard drives.
That’s a great tip, Penny. We store them on the laptop and an external harddisk, but going to make albums of them too, so we can look at them like in a real album…at least that’s the plan…MOLπΈPawkisses for a Happy TuesdayπΎπ½π
Thank you π Mom likes to have albums too. XO
That’s a very good idea! Ours are on Mommy’s phone or computer and eventually are put on an external HD.
Thank you π

Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea. We also have tons of photos too of our little ones. Now, we know what to do when we are out of storage. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
Thank you π I hope you had a good day.
We keep them on a hard drive but the storage at Wal Mart’s sounds interesting.
Jean
Thank you π XO
I wasn’t aware of that! Thanks so much for the great tip. We order prints from Walgreens all the time.
Thank you π
What a great tip, Penny! We store our old photos on an external hard drive, keep the current year on the laptop and back that up at least once a month.
Thank you π Good idea to back up.
I have mine stored on my hard drive and on CDs.
Wow, i wish i’d known this sooner. Thanks for the tips!
You’re welcome π
Excellent idea!
Thank you π
Hi Penny we have Gmail and get 10gig of storage for free. We like that and now with Windows 10 we get another 10gig there but do not like that as much
Thanks Penny
You’re welcome π
Mine are all over the place! Luckily my cloud storage is only 99 cents/month though. Since I now take most of my photos with my phone it works out well. I’m trying now to get my other photos copied over to a flash drive, but boy is that time consuming!
That is a good price.
Great tip! I didn’t know that. xo
Glad you like it π
Penny, that sure is a good tip. Mom has a bunch of photos stored on Shutterfly, ’cause she’s made several memory books about family vacations. She plans to make one of my friend Pip this year, but I’ve noticed that she has lots and lots of photos on the computer that she hasn’t saved elsewhere in case the computer crashes. Can you believe that?!
I hope she moves them to Shutterfly or someplace similar to be safe. XO
That’s a very good tip! I also use a free service like that.
Thank you π
Penny, this is a purrfect tip that all kitty bloggers can use. I had no idea that you can actually store photos with Walgreens. I store mine on my Google Drive. I try to keep them organized, but my goodness there are so many of them. Purrs!
Thank you. π XO
