Sunday Selfies

Hi everyone. We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop

Joanie had some help with her selfie, The Great One took her photo. Pretty good for a 4 yr. old. I will admit that the kid is better with scissors than I am. I blame everything on my being a lefty.

This is most likely Millie’s last selfie unless a miracle occurs. This was taken a few days ago, he is much weaker now. At this angle, you can’t see all his tumors along his back and on his poor little head.

  1. They are beautiful! My heart breaks for Millie and you. You barely have enough time for your heart to mend before it is time for another to cross the bridge! I’m sending prayers, love & hugs of comfort to you both. Loving Blessings, Deborah

  4. I wish Millie a comfortable end. I’m sorry you’ve had such a run of sadness lately. Take care. (Joanie’s selfie is paw-some)

  5. Great selfies……..so happy Millie did a selfie too – we are so sorry he has not much time left but we know it will be quality time with his siblings and Mom and Dad who have loved him so very much. When his time comes, he will fly off and be with Prancie and all the others.

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. The Great One is going to be creative and talented just like her aunt!

It is nice to see Millie – we’ll be thinking of you both. I hate that you have to go through this once again, you’ve had too much loss lately. ♥

  7. Joanie and The Great One are a team!
I am sorry that Millie’s time is short. You have done everything to make his transition/trip to the Bridge peaceful. He will be going there knowing love from you and your husband. I am sorry you are traveling this path again but I know you know it’s all part of loving the sweet kitties in your life. Doesn’t make it easier I know, it’s heartbreaking for you. Praying for you for strength and peace knowing what a kind thing you have done for Millie, praying for Millie and your husband. Hugs to you, Ellen♥

  8. Millie. I am broken hearted about you precious one. I only want you to feel my love for you.

  9. We want to begin by sending lots and lots of purrs and prayers to Millie. You are so very handsome and loved no matter what, sweet Millie.

Joanie, you and The Great One make a great team, as evidenced by your purrfect selfie. Your comment on being a lefty made me laugh. One of my childhood friends was a lefty, and scissors were more or less her worst enemy. Purrs and prayers to all of you!

  10. Please give Millie a kiss from me
The Great One is taking after her Great Auntie.
OMCs my daughter is a lefty too. Lefties are very creative and the only ones in their RIGHT mind.
When she was in K-garten the school did not supply lefty scissors. Thus she had a time too. I got permission to buy her lefties. After that she excelled at K-garten crafts. Also found some spiral notebooks with the spiral on the right side when she was in high school.
    Hugs Cecilia

  13. My husband is left handed, too, and it can be troublesome. ~nods~ I am so sorry Millie is failing. ~hugs~ Poor baby appears frail but also at peace. You’ve given him a great life. Be well, my dear.

  14. The Great One did a good job helping Joanie with her selfie.
Purrs for all of you and Millie. Whatever the future holds for him, I hope knowing you provided a loving & wonderful home for him eases your burden.

  15. Purrayers and POTP for Millie as he nears the Bridge – and for all who love him.

Maybe it’s not that you are bad with scissors, Ellen, but that The Great One is an Exceptional Talent !

  16. That is a wonderful selfie and the Great One sure did good. I’m so sorry about dear Millie, we just hate it for you both.

  17. Those kids get used to the technology early, and yes, being a lefty makes a difference. Sweetie is a lefty and so are all four of our children.

    Praying for Millie.
