Hi everyone! I have a review today, don’t worry, it is short.
*Disclaimer- I received 2 EZCatPads in exchange for a fair review. All opinions are my own.
We got through a lot of pads like this because our older cats tend to pee over the edge of the box. I put the pads on the side to catch everything.
Most of the pads I have tried tend to leak through, but these are very thick and did not. My only complaint is the size is very small.
You know Joanie’s pet, Gremmie is small so you can get an idea of how small they are. They are supposed to be used in litter boxes and can hold 500 ml of liquid. They offer free shipping and the more you buy, the better the savings. For more information, click here

Probably work okay in a PTU as well. Much too small for outside the giant litter boxes we have. Thanks for the review. Continuing to sends lots of love and hugs. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Yes, they would be good in the PTU. XO
We use doggy pee pads in our carriers just in case of accidents. But they are so large. These look like they are a better size.
That is a good idea.
Pipo would piddle right over them…and no piddle would even reach them, too bad, cause if they were bigger we would get some. He has always been a kitty who pees straight up…or over. Even hooded boxes let it come through…sigh…
Some boys are like that π
Do they come in different sizes though?
There is a dog size, but I don’t know if it is as thick.
We have litter boxes with high sides and that usually helps for Boodie. But we also have mats and puppy pads in case it doesn’t.
Good idea π
We’re lucky that we really don’t have a need for these – though we’ll keep them in mind π
Glad you don’t need them π
Oh I should imagine these would be good in a PTU!
Hugs, Pam
That is a good idea π
Nice of Gremmie to help you out today π
It was π
Gremmie, you were perfect to show us the size…
lol
Thanks for the information. Fortunately, urinating outside the box isn’t a current problem.
Thank you. XO
Those would work great in a PTU. In the past, Mom has used human pads as they are much bigger.
That is a good idea. XO
Good review. I’ve used puppy pads around the litter box in the past for cats.
Thank you. π
We wondered about using them in a PTU too. Raz is a PTU pooper!
The Florida Furkids
That is a good idea– Millie is one too π
Dang, those really are small ones.
Small, but thick.
A few years ago, we learned that you can buy an absorbent fabric on Amazon. We sewed this to some cotton fabric and made our own washable pads. They work great and are going strong. Here is what we bought. It says unavailable but you can probably find a similar brand https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K98EVLQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That is a great idea-thank you. π
Sounds like a good solution for those with that issue. I do like the idea of Rene’s washable pads. Better get Gremmie off the pad before someone needs to use it! xoxox
That is a good idea. MOL Gremmie π XO
Perhaps knowing this is an issue they will make some bigger to take care of what most need.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big healing hug, Ellen. β₯
They do have a larger dog one. XO
I agree, they are so small! But a great idea.
Thank you π
Maybe if enough people ask, they will start making them in a bigger size. Can’t hurt to try.
They do have a dog one that is bigger, but I didn’t try that one.
Sounds like the pad works very well. It sure looks small, though. It will be nice if they make a bigger size.
Exactly.
Although they are tiny they might work well outside Tilda’s box because she sometimes bolts before she is done with her business and it might catch those treasures π
xoxo,
Bell Fur Zoo Mama
That is funny π XO
Ohhh what a great invention. Our first cat was a male and he sometimes overshot
the edges these would have been purrfect.
Angel Madi was a digger and had great aim in the hole she dug for pp
However, she was a wee bit like Matilda above. She would often bolt like a rocket with the other often kicking some of the leftovers out.. She ‘required’ two boxes
one for pp one for poop and never should they mingle. Can you say D I V A
Hugs Cecilia
MOL! That is cute that she needed one for each. XO
It looks like a good product for inside the litter box, to help keep it cleaner or easier to clean out? We needed big ones for Sam. First to surround the whole litter box because she always missed (even with high sides!), and later because she wouldn’t use the box at all. But no matter how big the pee pads were….she always found the edge! LOL
Prancie was like that at the end too- and Lucy.
what about the pads hospitals use for patients beds? They are bigger.
That is a good idea.
They are. They need bigger ones or make them in different sizes.
They do have bigger ones for dogs.
Those do look like just the right size for cat carriers.
Yes, they are.
Good review and something to keep in mind should the need arise.
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Thank you.
They sound like they’re good quality. Too bad they are so small. Maybe they’ll produce larger ones if there is enough demand.
They have dog ones that are larger.
We have a litter-trapping tray right in front of our box that serves another purpose, as it turns out. Once in a while, somebody starts peeing before they get all the way in, but we won’t tell Mom which one of us it is!
Good idea to keep her guessing π
I’m going to have to keep these in my mind, especially for my incontinent little mancat. Thank you for sharing your honest review!
You’re welcome.
I also use pee pads around the boxes (actually on the walls!). Those do look small, but good to know they hold a lot of liquid.
That is a good idea π
