Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

A little over a week ago I got a wonderful surprise package in the mail. It certainly brightened my day. Back at the beginning of the year, Bionic Basil’s B-Team decided to send surprise packages to the first 10 people that commented on the post. Thank you for spreading joy. I will try to do the same and pay it forward.

Prancie LOVES the mat and doesn’t feel the need to share. Once in a while, Joanie nabs a corner of it.

And they sent an authentic Kraken tentacle. Trouble and Brody have been battling it constantly. The B-team may want to hire them to help battle the Kraken.

I also want to thank Vicky and Carole for the beautiful sympathy cards. And thank you to all who prayed, purred, and sent sympathies for Noel.It is never easy to lose a beloved cat, but knowing others care makes it easier.

We are also joining   Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt..

I think you are the prettiest girl in school
marry me or I will jump into a pool.
Silly boy, I can’t marry you
my heart belongs to my daddy and that is true.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. October is the perfect month for __________________.

2. The most recent purchase I made online was __________________.

3. If I turned invisible for a day, _________.

  1. That sure is a soft mat! No wonder Prancier has claimed it,MOL!

And we have a Kraken too…

Here, though no one likes it, but if the dogs had at it they would tear it up. yikes!

That is a sweet poem. That little boy reminds petcretary of her little brother, when he was an a wee urchin, he had blond curls too…sheesh, that was like forever ago!

  2. What a pawsome blankie from Basil and Co!! It looks cozy.
The Kraken tentacle looks like fun too 🙂

  3. Basil and the B Team have done a wonderful thing with their “PAW IT FORWARD” initiative….we too were blessed with a surprise package. Looks like your gang is enjoying it too! Love your poem – maybe those two are in love – they look so adorable together. Thanks for playing poetry with us every week.

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  4. How fun! A kraken tentacle 🙂
Now… do YOU pronounce it “kray-ken” or “crack-en” ?? LOL LOL

  5. That package was nicely timed and I’m glad it lifted your spirits. We’ve been thinking of you and purring for your comfort.

  6. Congratulations on your gifts from across the pond. Way cool.

Love your poem and that rang true for lots of little girls back in the day.

Great questions for the fill-ins. Mine are ready for tomorrow. Thank you for co-hosting.

  8. Yes, I am on the edge of my seat, wondering what happens next with The B-Team! Da Boyz love their mat too, even though The Hubby thinks it should NOT be inside the double-wide scratcher. But they love it there so!

  9. We loved your poem. It was heartfelt and so cute.

That was so nice of Basil and the B Team. I have ever seen a Kraken before. Is it like get …KRAKEN and grab some treats while you can?

  10. Your reviews and photos are all so fun, and the former informative, for sure. Thank you for sharing and opening your heart. ~hugs~ Best wishes, my dear.

  11. What a wonderful surprise that must have been! Prancie, you look so cute and cozy on that mat. And how sweet that you sometimes let Joanie share a corner of it. Does Gremmie ever try to sneak in there, too? And your poem is so sweet!

  12. What an absolutely sweet poem. It’s just how I felt at that age. Nice gifts from the B-Team. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
