Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Joanie is thankful for her pet Gremmie.

And here is my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo prompt:

That sure is a big crowd
I bet it is quite loud.
I won’t go near there for any wage
well, maybe to meet Nicolas Cage

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I love it when __________________________.

2. I know it’s time to _________________ when ________________.

3. Others come to me when they need _________.
4. We should never take _________ for granted.

  1. We are glad Joannie likes Gremmie. We have a pet duck, but we dont really like him much. If we sit on him, sometimes he quacks suddenly and that scares us.

    1. Thank you 🙂 Gremmie doesn’t make noise. We do have a frog and a duck that make noise though.

  2. Now that’s true love – if you’d face that mess in the train station for a glimpse of Nic, well, I’d say you are HOOKED! LOL Great poem!!

    Love, Pam

    1. I want more than a glimpse- I want a photo and a hug 🙂 I am a dreamer. Glad you like the poem. XO and love to you and Teddy.

  3. Looks like Nic Cage has a movie out now, “A Score to Settle”, and several more to come! I love “Moonstruck” so much, I’ll rewatch it over and over. If you haven’t seen him (and him) in “Adaptation”, I recommend it!

    1. I somehow missed that- I will check it out. I have seen Adaptation. My favorites are Peggy Sue Got Married and Family Man. XO

  4. Joanie is a cutie pie.

I laughed out loud with the Cage part. I know you’d wade through all of that to meet him.

I’m all ready for the fill-ins.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  6. Joanie, it always makes us happy to see you and Gremmie enjoying each other’s company. You’re such an adorable duo! And your poem, as always, made me smile. I’d avoid that crowd like the plague, but I have no doubt you’d risk it for Nicolas Cage. I’m still holding onto hope that you’ll meet him one day. Purrs to all!
