Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.I am thankful for all the wonderful birthday wishes on Tuesday. I am also thankful for birthday cake ice cream. Whoever invented that is a genius. Vanilla ice cream with frosting and sprinkles mixed in- so good!
And here is my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo prompt:
It sure is hot outside.
I put an egg on the sidewalk and it fried.
I will take a giant coke with ice
I don’t care about the price.

A birthday is made complete with cake and ice cream! And we had some of the birthday cake ice cream at work the other day…it was white with blue…and I did not taste any, MOL! (I am traditional and prefer plain flavor, esp vanilla or chocolate.)

I stopped drinking soft-drinks years and years ago, but recently had a Diet Coke on a whim during a hot day…ooh, that was luscious!
I rarely drink soda, but a Diet Coke is refreshing on a hot day.
Yep ~ birthday cake and ice cream are fun! and No calories ^_^

The only thing I like about birthdays any more is cake and ice cream! I love the birthday cake ice cream too, but would still rather have my cake separate. LOL
