  1. What attracts you to NYC? I was there years ago and have zero desire to return. I prefer rural places to cities.

  2. I have not ever been to NYC…having been in other large cities, maybe I will not put that too high on my bucket list…MOL!

    1. I could live on ice cream! But I know that isn’t too good…and it sure would be cheating.
    2. I rarely go to restaurants, but when I do, I like to order some kind of salmon…usually, but once in a while I change things up, MOL!
    3. I would most like to be known for how my Christian life style has governed the way I live my life and work.

    4. If you want to do fun things, you have to get the chore done first.

    1. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I agree it is good to mix things up. I think you are known for #3 plus you are a genuinely good person. XO

  3. Oh Miss Ellen I think you already ARE known for being a champion cat rescuer…….you have a house full of lucky cats who found their forever thanks to you! Happy Friday – we think your fill-in answers are fine and dandy.

    Hugs, Teddy (and Mom)

  4. Love the video!
I know you will always be known for rescuing cats. They all know they have a safe and loving home with you.
I have been to New York a few times but mostly during a cruise for only one day. Once we stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed it. I also went up the Empire State Building, which for someone who is very nervous in lifts and can’t go in one on their own, and also afraid of heights was a big achievement for me.

    1. Glad you enjoyed the video. We went there too and I called my mom from the top and she told me to get down 🙂 XO

  5. Love the video. NYC is a fabulous and glittery place to visit! At this stage in my life I prefer small quaint towns with a lot of history.

  6. Love your fill-ins. I knew what you’d say with #3.

The video is spot on. Most entertaining.

Thank you for co-hosting Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Hugs ♥

  7. We bought a bag of white cheddar Smart Food this week, it didn’t last the afternoon! Loved Oreo and his videeoh!!!! Ellen, you are most certainly known for rescuing cats and giving them forever homes… Thank you!
    1. I could live on homemade noodles and mashed potatoes.
    2. I rarely clothes shop, but when I do, I whine a lot.
    3. I would most like to be known for finding The BEST Grouper sandwich in Southwest Florida. I am working on that now… Ha!
    4. If you want to crack and eat a pecan (pick-AHN), you have to work for it.

    1. Glad you liked the video and the smart food 🙂 Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I have not had homemade noodles often, but the ones I had were so good. I used to love to clothes shop, not so much the fatter I get. I thought you found the best grouper sandwich near you? #4 is funny, I buy mine shelled 😉 Have a nice weekend! XO

      1. Yes, I think I have found my most favorite Grouper sandwich but it is good to keep trying others out there 😉 It’s the challenge with the pecan in the shell, we need some excitement in our life 🙂 Enjoy your Caturday!

  8. Oh, I’m sharing that video with my husband so we can watch together later on the television via our Roku device. Thanks for sharing. And good answers, though I always have trouble envisioning you as a fan of NYC. That’s interesting. I’ve never been. Wanted to go in support of a local band in my youth. I bet that’s no surprise. lol It didn’t happen. My boyfriend at the time was fearful of something bad happening to us, not that we could afford the trip anyway. Oh, well. Take care!

    1. I hope you both like the video. I know it is hard to believe a homebody loves NYC, but living in a small town my whole life, I love the anonymity of it.

  9. Love the video. I giggled more than a couple of times! Great answers to your fill-ins. Mine would be:
    1. I couple live on cut up fruits and veggies if someone else would cut them up.
    2. I rarely travel outside the US, but when I do, it’s usually to Mexico.
    3. I would most likely be known for being a genuine person with a strong faith.
    4. If you want to eat healthy, you have to cook it yourself!
Hope your weekend is warm and wonderful.

    1. Glad you liked the video. Thank you for the fill-in answers, I enjoyed them. Yes, fruit and veggies are a pain to wash and cut. And I agree it is healthier to eat at home. Have a nice weekend! XO

  10. First I liked your Poem for yesterday…talking is for sure overrated especially when there is so much beauty to take in on a walk.
    #4 answer is superb!!
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. What is Smart Food?
It’s been decades since I visited NYC, and it’s on the list to visit in the next few years. First, is a trip to Utah to Best Friends!

    1. WOW! You haven’t been to NYC in longer than me. Smart food is cheddar flavored popcorn- so good. I used to want to go to Best Friends, but I don’t want to leave my kitties for that long.

  12. Great answers. Hmmm, you haven’t been to NYC since you know me. What is Smart Food? Would I like it? I think soon you might be known as a children’s author too.

    1. Shocking isn’t it? Smart food is cheddar flavored popcorn, KaTwo loves it and so does Brody.
Thank you for your confidence in my writing. XO

  13. I am a homebody myself, and I think our pets love that about me, so there’s nothing wrong with this.
Being known for rescuing cats is a wonderful legacy in my eyes!
    Have a great week!

  14. Mom would love to go to NYC again too – it is a fun city with so much to do and see. And you are right, if you want something, it isn’t going to just come to you, you have to work for it.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  15. I decided to try again to visit and comment on other blogs from my phone. Hopefully it will let me. It isn’t letting me see your video, so I hope to get to see it on my computer later.?

I know you’ll be remembered for your love of cats and for helping them to have a better, safer life. It is a blessing all around. ♥

Have a blessed day and weekend, my friend!

    1. I also meant to say that I am a homebody, too. I don’t want to leave this place, but I have to several times a week anyway. Days of long drives or shopping for fun, those days are over. I’m okay with that. At least here, I know where to find a bathroom! Haha

    2. Thank you, I am glad you were able to visit. You are both in my prayers. I hope you have a blessed weekend too. XO

  16. 1. I could live on pizza! But I know it’s so bad for me.

    2. I rarely take time off work, but when I do, I just love to sleep and stay home with the cats.

    3. I would most like to be known for my love of cats.

    4. If you want to be successful, you have to work hard.

    1. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I could live on pizza too. I love napping with cats 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

  17. You must be pretty smart by now! LOL
I am a homebody too, and rarely travel either. If I do it’s usually just for one night. I prefer the coast of Maine, and usually avoid the cities. All that bustle and traffic makes me anxious!
