  1. Cats are really no more trouble than they need to be, which is to say that you will go through the day taking orders and try to teach him how little your thoughts, actions, and perceptions that may be products of your own perceptual reality

  2. You do a good job on the cat toys. I think the purple bow tie is the favorite around here. Martha’s ice cream cones are put up for when his mommy gets back from Houston, whenever that may be.

Drac loves to try to toss the bow ties. He does a good job with that. They love to play.

    Have a blessed week.

  3. Great fill-ins. I’m sure you could make ANYTHING you want to – your crochet is wonderful and your sewing too! Looks like Trouble is TRYING to look innocent but her “leftovers” on her furs are giving her away…..hahaha

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  4. I agree with David. Your cat toys are great! I look forward to seeing the cat bed/afghan, whichever you decide to make. I may try my hand at cat-themed crochet, too. I have seen patterns for the cutest little kitty cats. It was something called amigurumi or something like that. Whatever it is, I want to learn how to do it. 🙂

Your kitties are very blessed to have you in their lives.

    Have a blessed weekend!

    1. Thank you. I bet you would do a great job with Amiguri. My hands are too big to work with the small hooks.I hope you have a blessed weekend too. XO

  5. 1. I want to make the house a better place for the Mews each day. Today I found dry food they went nuts over.

    2. My cats are my companions.

    3. A day in my life always includes cats (duh)! 😉

    4. Good things happen to those who spend time around cats

  6. No one can pass up the whipped cream!

Cuddles with cats and reading are two of the best things ever.

  7. OhMyGosh… the photo of Trouble with whip cream on her face! That is so funny and priceless! Your Fill-ins are all Cat this Friday ♥
    1. I want to make picture taking a part of my happiness again.
    2. My happy times are returning after some times of struggling.
    3. A day in my life always includes watching the Ibis, Checkers the Great Egret, Horatio the Blue Heron, the Storks, Noir the Anhinga, and AllieGator in the afternoon at the pond.
    4. Good things always happen to those who open up the opportunity.
    Thank you for the Fill-ins!

    1. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I am glad happy times are returning. You should take some photos of Checkers and Blue 🙂 XO

  8. Ellen,

I always wanted to learn how to crochet but never did. I don’t think I had the paitence and now my interests are elsewhere. I would like to make a quilt, though. 🙂 Something told me what your answer would be to number two. lol Yep, I do my share of blog reading and hopping each day, too. Yes, putting forth the effort is a very important first to make sure good things do follow or at least that’s what we hope for anyhow. 🙂

Seriously, I have no idea why anyone would blame that face for being into the whipped cream. Oh, the nerve of some people! lol

Have a good weekend and thanks for hosting the Friday fun!

    1. It is never too late to learn to crochet or quilt 🙂 Poor Trouble, wrongly accused 🙂 Hope you have a nice weekend too! XO

  9. Trouble looks like s/he would do it again, if given the opportunity 😉 Totally agree with you on “Good things happen to those who put the effort in.”… In my experience, the ones who wait for good things to simply be dumped in their laps are felt far behind the ones that will get out there and work for what they want.

  10. I certainly agree with your position that you won’t be successful if you don’t do any effort in your life, environment and so on.
All we need in a bit of luck and a lot of strength to be happy.

  11. 1. I want to make the world a kinder place.
    2. My priorities are spot on for my life.
    3. A day in my life always includes telling my husband that I love him.
    4. Good things happen to those who are kind.

I’m sorry you get blamed for everything. Mom and dad still love you though.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥

    1. Thank you for these great answers 🙂 I tell my hubby I love him every day too. I hope you have a nice weekend too. XO

  12. Oh, Trouble. That’s too funny. Your toys are amazing. I love how bouncy they are. Every once in a while, I get geriatric Jezebel to play while Tilly lounges and watches. Heh… Be well!

  13. Love your fill ins!!!
As for a larger item I have a pattern for a continuous afghan square. It goes quickly and turns out very pretty with either variegate or plan yarn.
If you would like the patter let me know.
    Hugs Cecilia

    1. Thank you. And thanks for the offer, but I have never been able to make an afghan square. I am not that skilled. XO

  14. guyz….we vote for a cat bed for each oh ewe; then a cat affa gan for everee one….
ewe can each pick yur own choize oh yard two !!! how kewl iz THAT !! 🙂 ☺☺♥♥

  15. Yes, our pets are our life as well! They deserve nothing less, because they give us so much love.
I want to crochet a blanket, but somehow life always gets in the way *sigh*.
    Have a wonderful week!

  16. Mommy never learned to crochet, but she used to knit and has made lots of afghans. She thinks you should go for it. We know it would be gorgeous. A day in your life sounds purrfect. Looks as if Trouble got himself in just a bit of trouble. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  17. Purrfect answers! I have great respect for those who can crochet, like you. Both of my grandmothers, my mom, and my sister are all crocheters, but I have no skills in that realm whatsoever. All of your other answer, though, I can completely relate to those. Kitties, kitty cuddles, books, blogs – those are all such wonderful things!
