We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?

  I just finished Between Two Worlds by Tyler Henry. As many of you know, I am a fan of Theresa Caputo, The Long Island Medium. Click here to read my post about her.  I had never heard of Tyler Henry until I saw his book at Barnes and Noble. I like to go in there and make a list of books to get from the library ( I am cheap).

I believe some do have the gift of communicating with those that have passed. He seems like the real deal to me just like Theresa. He first started getting visions when he was 10 years old and has become more focused with time. I watched an episode of his show on E ( Hollywood Medium) and was impressed. My hubby laughs at these shows when I watch them. I told him that I need to believe these are true. I believe in God, but I like knowing our loved ones are with us always.

Two nights after Tallulah went to The Bridge, some of my cats kept looking behind me on the couch. I kept turning around and not seeing anything so I hoped it was her spirit. Then I spotted a ladybug. In Tyler;s book, he writes of seeing a ladybug at his Grandmother’s funeral and knowing it was a sign from her. Reading that reassured me that my ladybug was a sign from Tallulah.

  1. We cats are way more intuitive and psychic than most humans – I think it gets drilled out of a lot of them in school. When I go on therapy cat visits, I can tell which kids still have the gift.

  2. Oh I bet that ladybug WAS Tallulah letting you all know – including the other kitties – that she was fine. I believe in signs and I definitely believe those who have gone reach those who are looking for and understand those signs to offer reassurance that they are fine and looking out for their families – always.

  3. It’s very special you received a sign from Tallulah. I think it would be very reassuring and sweet to receive a sign from the special people and pets in our life. I have had signs, I think. I am reading blogs to catch up after having worker peeps in the house the whole past week.

    I think I’m really going to like it. About the relationship of young woman and her Grandmother…the family is starting to notice Grandma should not be alone.

    I think if nothing else the memories of those we love, human and the furry variety, fill that void when they cross over. While I’m not a believer in the supernatural as such I think there is some energy of any living creature remains behind for a time but more importantly, we know those that we love are in a better place in the end and hopefully, we’ll be reunited one day. I think Tullulah’s spirit lives on because of the joy she brought to you and her brothers and sisters. A little piece of her will always be with you. xo

  8. I just finished reading About My Mother: True Stories of a Horse-Crazy Daughter and Her Baseball-Obsessed Mother: A Memoir by Peggy Rowe – LOVED it. And have begun The Point of It All, which is a collection of essays by the late Charles Krauthammer, who I always admired. …. Both are short stories, which I like to read prior to going to sleep. Peggy Rowe’s book was so hilarious in some spots that I literally laughed out loud (a couple times to tears). Thus far, Charles Krauthammer’s essays are more thought-provoking than than funny, but their ideas worth spending time thinking about.

  10. I believe it too. When our Little Bit went to the bridge she kept sending butterflies. Butterflies in our boat and there wasn’t a real one. We believe too.

  11. I am a believer too. There is a reason for for things that happen beyond our small world. I believe animals have keener senses than humans. The lady bug was a sign of Tallulah checking in. So sweet.

    Also believe. My mother is a natural medium, although she has done nothing to refine or bone her ability. It just happens or it doesn’t, for her. I’m glad Tallulah left you a sign.

  15. Our Mom doesn’t watch those shows but does believe a little in passed ones still being around sometimes. Our sister Pia most often looks up at a bedroom wall and “talks” to what our Mom thinks might be kitty angels.

  16. I’m with you, Ellen. In fact one of my former students is a [sychic and I have orked with an animal communicator – they can be the real deal too.

  17. This topic always intrigues me. There is something very comforting about noticing signs that our lost loved ones are still with us. After one of my childhood dogs passed, I would often still hear the sound of her barking. And after my sweet Rosie passed, there was more than once when I woke up to the feeling as if she had been lying on me, as she often did on nights when she would cuddle with me in bed. Your sweet Tallulah is certainly with you and watching over you. Purrs and prayers!

  26. I am most grateful that these two beautiful divas allow me to share their home and their lives. Yes. Cats are very intuitive but as I am an empath, they don’t even need to meow. Each of us appreciates the quiet.
