3. You couldn’t pay me to hunt or kill a living thing ( other than a bug)..

  1. All your Fill-ins are terrific. I am still working on #2. Sometimes it is so hard to pass by a bargain. Some of Kitties Blue only get along when sleeping and will lie together then. Hugs, Janet

  2. Awww, that is a sweet picture of Sammy & Joanie.

    1. Better to be busy and occupied than not busy and bored.

    2. Don’t do something just because someone else is doing it…you need a good reason!
    3. You couldn’t pay me to take certain medications, esp the osteoporosis and diabetes ones…
4.Baked goods are my comfort food esp peanut butter cookies…and they are not part of our lifestyle…but they call me when they are on the resident menu where I work. MOL!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I agree it is better to be busy also agree with #2 and 3. I admire that you stick to paleo. XO

  3. My Mom is wary of bargains too – and if she already has something that “works” she doesn’t replace it with a bargain…..maybe she’s finally learned that after all these years?!?! Now if it’s a bargain toy for ME – that’s another matter (hahahaha). Mom and Dad often have tomato soup and grilled cheese – it is a wonderful comfort food.

    Hugs, Teddy

    1. Yes, always good to get cat toys 🙂 I just made The Great One grilled cheese yesterday 🙂 XO

  4. It took me a while to figure out something bought on sale that won’t get used isn’t money saved, and i agree, being an optimist is best. It even bothers me to hunt bugs, i wish they would just stay outside so i wouldn’t have to bother with them.

    Happy Friday!

  5. Ellen,

Yes, I prefer to be an optimist, too. I could hunt for survival but I’m glad I don’t have to. Yum, I like tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, but PB sandwiches are good with tomato soup, too. 🙂

    Have a good Friday!

  6. Love your answers. That’s true about bargains and I always fall into that trap. Ooohhh…I love grilled cheese. I haven’t had that in a long time. Yum.

    Have a great weekend!

  7. Like all your Fill-ins except for the tomato soup part (used to be)… love grilled cheese. CH has a new way to make tomato soup and now I love it. A can of Italian seasoned tomatoes, add milk, butter, salt, pepper, and simmer. Very good… like eating pizza soup!
    1. Better to be cold than hot.
    2. Don’t say something to somebody just because you think they want to hear it.
    3. You couldn’t pay me to go any place with a whole lot of people.
    4. Homemade noodles are my comfort food.

    1. That does sound good 🙂 Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I definitely agree with #1, at least when cold you can add layers. Good point on #2. I don’t like crowds, but my need for a bargain is stronger which drives me out on Black Friday. I bet homemade noodles are really good. Have a wonderful weekend! XO

  8. Great fill in answers. I don’t have the buying bargain thing. I hate shopping. I guess that’s a good thing.

Aw, it’s wonderful that they sleep together even though one likes to irritate the other. So precious.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥

  9. Sweet photo! You’ve reminded me that I have four cans of tomato soup, a block of cheddar unopened in the fridge, and decent bread in the pantry. Hmmm… Lunch tomorrow, maybe? I have a roast in the slow cooker for tonight. On that note, I’d like to learn how to hunt and show that (dubious, I suppose) respect for the animals I can’t make myself stop eating. ~shakes head~ Be well, sweet soul!

  10. guyz….letz see if thiz commint makez post hiss tree !!! wavez two R fellow
bass terd gobbler chazerz….hope we both N de hole crew haza grate week oh end 🙂 ♥♥

  11. I just spent a TON OF MONEY on bargains; bought a package deal at the nail salon, and a couple of pairs of athletic shoes because of a big sale! Hmmm….

  12. Being optimistic isn’t easy, but it makes life so much better.
Sometimes is hard to resist a bargain, but I try to think first before buying something I don’t really need – it’s still a work in progress.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  13. Bargains are so tempting, but you do have to be careful! I always lived by “you get what you pay for”, and when I stray away from that I usually regret it! (there are certainly exceptions to that though!)
It probably goes along with “if it seems too good to be true, it probably is”. LOL

  14. Oh my gosh! The bargain thing! I’m recovering from that as well. When I worked at JC Penney’s years ago, I spent much of my paychecks on “great bargains” since I worked in the Misses department and I had first dibs on everything being marked down! I used to buy stuff that had a rebate making it free – but I just ended up with like 600 pens and a bunch of stuff I’ll never use – sometimes I’m tempted … but then I remember my drawer of pens.

    1. I think most of us have suffered from this at some point. Now the push is for minimalism 🙂 I am good with that- except with cats 🙂

  15. Mom and you are a lot alike. She says life is always better if you have a positive attitude. And she too loves grilled cheese (with tomatoes and/or ham). And #3 is a given with her. She loves a good bargain but tries to buy just what she needs these days – no more room for collecting stuff she really doesn’t need.

    Have a great weekend.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  16. 1. Better to be lied to than lie yourself-.

    2. Don’t ever get angry just because someone else is having a bad day.
    3. You couldn’t pay me to not be honest.
    4. Baked Chicken thighs or pork stew is my comfort food.

  17. I could never be a hunter, either. The whole thought of it makes me sick. I don’t really like killing bugs either, especially bigger ones. But, I do it when necessary. ICK

When I was a kid, I often had cheese toast with tomato soup. I haven’t had that in ages.

    Your kitties are adorable.

Oh! Be checking your email soon. Our daughter sent something for me to share with you. 🙂

    Have a blessed weekend!

  18. CVS depends on people believing in a bargain. They often sell things, “Buy one get two free”. They triple the price on the item just before it goes on sale. Usually buy one get three free works out to be more expensive in the long run. I learned this lesson the hard way. Have a blessed week.

  19. 1. Better to research rather than believe just anything.

    2. Don’t buy another whatever- it- is just because your present one may break. Mom learned this the hard way.

    3. You couldn’t pay mom to blindly accept what she hears … Whatever it may be. She researches.

    4. Meatloaf is mom’s comfort food.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I agree it is good to not believe everything- always research. XO

  20. I know exactly where you’re coming from when it comes to bargains. One of my biggest downfalls is the Target dollar bin. I will buy things I don’t even need just because they’re cute and cheap there. And you just made me realize that I haven’t had grilled cheese and tomato soup in so long, and the current weather is perfect for a warm meal like that. Mmmmmm. Sammy, aren’t you the one who also chases Brody and some of the other kitties? We sure do like seeing you happy and napping with your sister Joanie! Purrs!
