Sunday Selfies

Hi everyone. Before we do our selfies, we want to give our condolences to Annie at McGuffy’s Reader who had to say goodbye to Chloe Jo. To visit, click here.

We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

Sammy volunteered to do a selfie. He wants to show off his new scarf and toy mouse his friend, Cat Scout Charles sent to him.

Poor Brody ended up at the vet. His cold caused his nose to be stuffy so he was open mouth breathing which alarmed me. His x-ray showed clear lungs, but he had a temperature so he got fluids and an antibiotic shot. The open mouth breathing has stopped and he is sneezing more so hopefully all the stuffiness is going to clear.

  1. I am so sorry to hear about Chloe Jo going to the Bridge. That is so sad. 🙁

You look mighty sharp in the pretty scarf, Sammy.

I hope Brody is going to be just fine very soon. Open mouth breathing is no fun at all!

Have a blessed weekend and a very happy New Year!

  2. Sammy, you look dashing in your scarf!

We are sad to read about Chloe Jo’s journey to the Bridge.

Sending love and purrs to Brody. We sure hope he’s better soon.

  3. Sammy looks so cute in his scarf. We are going to tell Mummy We want scarves too.
We wish Brody a speedy recovery. Our Mummy also has what She calls “a real stinker” of a cold. We hope We don’t cstch it!

  4. Oh I got one of those fabulous scarves too from Scout Charles! I’ll try to allow Mom to take a photo of me with it on. So sorry about poor Brody having to go to the vet….I hope he gets rid of his cold soon – not fun when you feel poorly for the holiday (or any time!!!!).

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Now that is a lovely brace of presents that Sammy got. Both are going to be really handy on cold winters nights, or whilst out mousing. Hope Brody gets better very soon.

  6. Yesterday i sent my condolences to McGuffy Ann, i am very sorry about Chloe Jo.

A cat cold is very different from a human cold, ours are caused by viruses which we just have to get over, theirs are caused by bacteria which require an antibiotic. Hope Brody is feeling a lot better soon.

Sammy, you are a handsome dude in your scarf, and that looks like such a fun mouse toy.

  7. I was also saddened by the news about Chloe Jo and sent my condolences to Annie. RIP our furry little friend. I’m glad to hear Brody is on the mend.

  8. Sad news! I hope Brody feels better. Tilly acted weird this morning, like she has yet another UTI. Looks like we’re calling the vet tomorrow. Best wishes!

  9. That’s a handsome-looking scarf, Sammy, and it looks real nice on you. I hope Brody is starting to breathe easier. Breathing in steam from a hot shower can help clear up a stuff nose. That’s a tip Mom got from my V-E-T.

  10. Poor servants of Chloe she choose a bad time to go to the bridge !
You look very elegant with your scarf ! Kim has a cold too and sneezes but has nothing else.

  11. I am so sorry to hear of Annie’s loss of Chloe Jo. My thoughts and prayers are with her.

Sammy, just look at you in that scarf! You are too cute for words. And many, many purrs and prayers to Brody! I’m glad he’s back home and doing better now. I hope this cold leaves the rest of your kitties alone. Purrs and prayers!
