Happy Thursday everyone! First off, a few days ago there was an email about a Christmas card swap and a secret Santa for bloggers. I can’t find it now in deleted or old mail so could someone please let me know where to send the information -my kitties want to join, especially Phoebe.
Joanie’s little bump got checked at the vet, but I still don’t have a definite answer. The vet tried 4 times and said it wouldn’t “exfoliate” to get cells to test it. That is good because mast cell tumors usually do. She said I could watch it, but Joanie is due for a teeth cleaning so I will have it removed on November 7th while she is under. She travels well with just a couple meows.
Today is behavior day and I am not sure if this counts as behavior, but it is my topic for today. We have an old chair that I put out on the enclosed porch about 4 years ago. My mom wanted it, but didn’t take it in time. Millie decided it was for him and has since decorated it. I hate having it out there, but I don’t want to break his heart so I let it stay.

HA! Looks like that chair was “adopted” by the cats so now you have no chance of removing it permanently…….!!

I know, I couldn’t take it away when they love it.
Mom says that she wouldn’t remove that chair for love nor money. They have claimed it, and it should remain theirs as long as they use it. Usually the Secret Santa is set up by Mom Paula at Sweet Purrfections. We haven’t seen anything yet, but will check it out. Well we think that chair is there to stay. Mom Paula just mentioned after she finishes up with the CB calender she is going to put up the Secret Paws information. We did see that Madi and Mom had a link to Secret Santa listing but it was mainly woofies.
That must have been what I saw, I thought it was for both, but I had it wrong. Thank you, I just didn’t want to miss out as it is my first year blogging.

They sure have, there is no moving it now.
Looks like it’s too late to move the chair until the kitties get tired of it! We hope everything is okay with the the bump and removal!
They are keeping the chair. Thank you, I will keep everyone posted on the bump, but it will be a couple weeks until it is removed.
Mom Paula is in the process of setting up the Secret Paws. She said she should have it together in a week or so. They are also working on a holiday card exchange…which can be by snail mail. email or both. Details should be posted on the Cat Blogosphere so you’ll want to check there.
We’re glad that Joanie’s bump doesn’t appear to be anything serious.

That’s great that you kept the chair. I have a love seat sitting in an unused corner of the den. It’s the only piece of upholstered furniture we have from my first house (the rest was replaced with leather to reduce cat allergens for the dad) but I keep it because all the cats have enjoyed laying on it. If they occasionally give it a little scratch, I don’t get upset (but I don’t encourage that behavior) I gently move them to their scratchers.
Kitties get very attached and don’t like change so I’d rather they be happy than worry about looks.
