The Elvira Factor -1

Hi everyone! Penny decided she needed a day off because she has taken on another job. She is the official tick finder of the house now. Dad had one crawling on his play clothes and she pointed it out to mom. And I am a little tuckered so my new sister Elvira volunteered to do a post. So lets give a big round of appaws to Elvira.

Hi, how ya’ll doing? My 2 sisters and I had a blog called The Opinionated Pussycat. As you know, my dad went to Heaven and so did my sister, Sneakers not long after. I miss them, if you want to see some photos of me with my dad, click here.  And you can click here for a sample of one of my Elvira Factor’s posts.

My sister, Friday and I are pretty comfortable here. These people talk a little funny and pretty fast compared to what we were used to, but they are nice. Apparently, they have different accents than my dad had and people in the North are always rushing about and even talk fast.

I could do without my new mom’s rendition of the song, Elvira. Yikes! Her voice is awful.  She does give me some yummy treats called Greenies though. They are so good that I can’t help but lick my lips when I see the bag.

I am just easing back into writing so that is all I have for today. I will write gain soon though.

I hope that soon you will love your new mom…cause you know, she’s the real deal!

That was funny when you tattled about her singing, though, MOL!

  5. Well Elvira glad you’re relaxing in your new home……sorry your new Mom’s voice isn’t doing “your song” any justice but just remember she feeds you well and takes good care of you so you can forgive her lacking in the voice department! Tee Hee We’re all happy that you and Friday have a home with Miss Ellen – she’s a GREAT Cat Mom!

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. Elvira you are a born Mistress of Ceremonies, brava! And we’re going to check out those Greenies. I’m being checked out my self at the vet so I will NEED Greenies if they ever let me out, haha. SO glad you at “at home” with your WONDERFUL new mama and papa.

  7. Hi Elvria…you did a wonderful job getting back into dictating blogs. And since I didn’t know you until now, I enjoyed seeing you in your first home. You are a lucky girl to be where you are now. XX

  8. Welcome Elvira!! I would also sing for you …. but …. er… um ….. I won’t. (lucky you!) thank you for your post and telling a little about yourself!

  9. I, too, would be tempted to sing Elvira to you! Sometimes a cat has a “song” and sometimes I have to make one up. It’s fun for me but sometimes the cats hide!

  10. Ticks…eek!
Elvira, so nice to meet you.
We are so sorry about your angle dad and sisfur, yet you are now in the bestest place in the world for kitties, believe me.

  11. I’m glad you’re going to blog with your new mom. I didn’t know she sang so awful though. You’re going to have to deal with it, because she won’t stop singing. I don’t blame her either.
