Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful for this great toy our friends at Eel Creek Chronicles sent to us. It is for us all to share, but I have been hogging it.

Mom said I had to write a poem to go with this photo. I have had a class in poetry at Cat Scouts camp last summer. Here is my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day.

Is this a sign for a car or boat?
I think someone opened the moat.
All I know is I am glad I am not there,
I would rather get caught in my underwear.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Sammy looks pretty devoted to that toy! He also looks adorable with it. I’m really happy the crew has things to enjoy. Can KaTwo manage any play activity?

  2. Sammy, that looks like a very nice toy. Your poetry class paid off. You did a great job. The kitties here agree about being there (although they don’t wear underwear).

  3. HAHAHAHAHA……what a GREAT poem!!! You did a great job with a rather difficult photo this week…..next week’s will be fun. That new toy looks like it’s a BIG HIT.

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Heeheehee! Your poem made me laugh loudly enough to have my Sweetie ask, What’s so funny? Your Cat Scout poetry class was well worth it.

  5. Sammy can hog that toy. It’s all good.

I love your poem, but I don’t want to get caught in my underwear.

Not participating in Friendly Fill-ins. We’re on a cruise starting tomorrow.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps and scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  6. A poem that makes me giggle, always nice to start the day with a giggle and/or a smile! Sometimes sharing is just hard to do… CH wanted to share my chocolate chip cookie yesterday and I had to really think about it… 🙂
