Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop
Trouble is thankful that we now know it was Sammy that knocked the haunted house down. She did get caught on top of the grandfather clock though which explain why it is running fast.
I am thankful to all who have purchased my book, reviewed it , shared it, etc. All your support means the world to me.
Dezi and Raena are currently hosting a giveaway for a copy of Prancie’s Prayer. Click here.
And don’t forget that I have a giveaway on Goodreads too that goes until October 29th.
We are skipping the poetry today out of respect for The Trout Towne Tabbies because it is bird themed. Actually, as many know I am superstitious and birds in the house are bad luck so I have taken it to an extreme and don’t want a bird photo on my blog. Yes, I am crazy- you had to have figured that out by now 🙂

A burd in the house here would be bad luck for da burd!
Same here 🙂
So Trouble makes the Grandfather clock’s heart go pitter-pat?
Yes, it does 🙂
Pawsome laser eyes Trouble 😉
Good to know you are off the hook.
WE think the Trout Town Tabbies will be thankful not to see poems about birds 🙂
MOL!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Thank you 🙂 XO
That is a beautiful clock and kitty. 🙂
I don’t like the idea of a bird in the house either, well, except for the one that I married. David’s nickname in junior high/high school was “Bird”. 🙂 But, overall, I do love birds. Alfred Hitchcock’s movie was pretty creepy though and I think of it every time I’m near the ocean and the gulls are gathering.
Thanks for the fill-ins! Have a blessed day. 🙂
I like them as long as they stay outside 🙂 I hope you have a blessed day too. XO
Yep we know Trout Towne Tabbies are definitely not fans of burds but we thought the photo was so cute we just HAD to use it for Poetic Thursday! That photo of Trouble on top of the clock is so cute – laser eyes and all……..as for the book – we are hoping it sells more and more and more copies because it’s a truly SWEET book!!
Hugs, Teddy
It was a cute photo. 🙂 Thank you for the compliments on my book. XO
That was very kind of you to think of Tabbies. Trouble, we are glad to see you may not have been responsible for that other trouble, but you got the clock! You go girl. You are an inspiration to us all. And to your mom, we did a book review for you today.
Trouble thanks you. And I thank you too for the very sweet book review. XO
MOL! We thought of the tabbies when we saw those burds! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
MOL! Thanks for hosting 🙂
Ellen, I suspect that you’re cats are preparing for Halloween…
They sure are 🙂
Love that picture of Trouble on top of the clock! I’m not superstitious about birds but they sure wouldn’t have fun around here! LOL! 😀
Thank you. Birds would not have fun here either 🙂
I’ve got your book but haven’t read it yet. I’ve been so very busy. I’ll get to it soon.
I didn’t know you had a thing about birds. I don’t think you’re crazy though. Just saying.
I’m all ready for Friendly Fill-ins.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥
Thank you for buying my book, I appreciate your support.
I look forward to your fill-ins. XO
That Trouble is such a show-off! Never a dull moment.
Yes, she is 🙂
Ah-HA! Adorable Trouble and appropriate name all rolled into one, we see!
Yes, she sure is 🙂
Aww, Trouble up on the clock…that’s adorable! She looks like an owl up there!
And if it’s your superstition, then it’s best to follow your instincts!
She does look like an owl 🙂
We’re glad Trouble didn’t get in trouble!!!
Mom doesn’t like ANY wildlife in the house.
The Florida Furkids
MOL! 🙂
I also wonder how Sammy got up on top of the grandfather clock! I’m sure Trouble is relieved not to be blamed anymore. Although, with a name like that…..how much innocence can there be? 🙂
Very true, I should have named her Angel. 🙂
guyz…..yur mom iz rite…burd in de houz iz bad luck…..burd any wear iz bad luck…. frank lee….. but if one getz in de houz…….well, yur mom noez what we noez ~~~~~~~~
thanx tho for de “fun” …..outta ree spect !!!! 🙂 ♥♥♥
You’re welcome. XO
Whew, good thing for Trouble not to be in trouble about the haunted house, but we hope she is careful up there on the clock.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I hope so too.
That is some mighty fine jumping skills to get on top of that clock – impressive!
Very impressive.
Trouble must be so happy about that! But like all cats, I’m sure she has her own mischievous moments 🙂
She sure does 🙂
Trouble, I knew it wasn’t you!
Trouble thanks you 🙂
I still see pure innocence emanating from Trouble!
MOl! 🙂
We’re glad Trouble is off the hook for knocking down the house. 😉
Now she is in trouble for climbing the clock 🙂
Trouble, you do live up to your name sometimes!
She does 🙂
You crazy? Never!!
We get birds in the house when the kitties bring in one, usually already long dead MOL!!!
Mum says to tell you that the Pet Parade blog hop has a new linky thing now that works better!
Thank you. XO
What? Birds in the house are bad luck? I guess we’d best keep our farm birds outside (the chickens seem like they’d come right in the front door of we let them!).
Oh, trust me, we all have our own versions of crazy. I don’t know how my hubby lives with me sometimes!! 🙂
CHickens must be OK 🙂
I have always been somewhat fascinated by birds and I had parakeets and cockatiels when I was younger but since I have cats a bird would not be a good fit.
I think the bird would be nervous all the time.
So, Trouble was framed and is now out of trouble!
We’ve had pet birds and i had no idea they were bad luck. Messy, but all pets are messy to one degree or another.
I am just superstitious.
Egads a bird in the house! We don’t want another one of those. Trouble you look very proud of yourself on top of the clock.
Shoko
Trouble was quite proud 🙂 XO
It is most kind of you to be so sensitive to the TT Tabbies! Unfortunately we said somefing about burds the other day and they had a little anxiety attack, MOL! XOXOXO
MOL! 🙂 XO
Your book is a sweet read. I so enjoyed it. I didn’t PROcrastinate and did my first review online. Your book makes me smile. I loved the words and the illustrations. Looks like Trouble doesn’t have a problem with fear of heights! She cracks me up!
Thank you, that was so sweet of you to do a review. I am glad you enjoyed my book. Trouble gives us a lot of laughs too, it is nice to have a youngster in the house 🙂 XO
I’m superstitious, too, so I understand! I’m so excited for you and will enter the giveaway on Goodreads now.
Glad I am not the only one 🙂 Thank you for entering the giveaway on Goodreads.
I’m glad Trouble is out of trouble.
She is too 🙂
Birds are lucky here. During my career I illustrated many books about Big Bird and my husband was Sesame Street’s art director!
xxoo
That is so cool! XO
Before I was married I had starlings in my house, twice!
And here we have had a bat…though of course that isn’t a bird, MOL!
Trouble please be a good kitty and don’t mess with that grandfather clock…our Opa would not be pleased at all…he had to sometimes go to peeps homes to repair those, after someone or somefur messed with them…yikes!
When she jumps on it, it does throw off the time and my hubby has to reset it. I don’t even dust it, I am afraid to mess it up. Trouble was very white from the dust up there 🙂 XO
We don’t like birds in the house either awnty Ellen. Well, lessen it’s a turkey tom lurkey that mommy’s cookin’ up in the oven. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Good point, we don’t mind those either 🙂 XO
Inside or outside we love birds, although Mom says she prefers them OUTSIDE.
I like them as long as they stay outside. 🙂
