Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am so thankful the home vet visit went well. Sure, it took my hubby and I almost 2 hours to catch the 3 ferals, but we did it. Now all my cats are caught up on rabies shots and Tuffy no longer has an enormous mat on his back.

Penelope needs a dental so hopefully her bloodwork will be ok.

I am also thankful I got to go out for an early birthday breakfast Tuesday with my mom, niece and kids. The waitress was so nice. When she saw Typhoid Mary stealing the whipped cream off my pancake, she brought her some. And when Typhoid Mary complained the chocolate milk wasn’t chocolatey enough, she added more. And when The Boy wanted his mom to have her coffee in a Stitch mug the restaurant had, she gave it to them to take home.

One more- I am thankful to turn 57 today. My health is pretty good, and I can still get up off the floor when I play with the kids. Sure, my knee hurts for days after, but I can get up.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  12. Bless you, my dear, for all the caring love you give and joyful sharing. ~hugs~ It seems your waitress is much like you. 😀 Happy early Birthday, my dear. And might I suggest something like a stool with handles to help you stand? An outdoor foldable one is invaluable in my garden. It can be flipped, making a comfortable seat or offering handles helping me get upright more easily.

    1. Thank you. That is a good idea. We have one of those that my hubby uses often in the garden. xO

  13. I wish you many happy returns of the day! The restaurant sounds like one I’d want to patronize often, they are good to people.
