Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful Typhoid Mary wanted me over for a play date on her mom’s day off. We made a video with her dolls. It is 17 minutes long so I won’t be offended if you don’t want to watch it.

I skipped the poem this week.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I tend to forget _______________________.
2. I celebrate the 4th of July by _____________________.
3. I was a fan of _________ before it became popular.
4. I see _________ in my future.

  1. Oh that video looks very cute, Ellen! And good fill-ins! Sorry I won’t be able to watch the entire video as my health problems are really limiting me right now. XO

    1. Thank you. I am sorry you are not feeling good. I pray you feel better soon. XO

  2. I love this video about the dolls. I was a girly girl I guess because Santa Claus brought me a doll every year for Christmas right up until I was about 14. And I loved having everyone of them as your niece loves every one of hers.

    1. Thank you and thanks for watching. I wish you could come over and play with us. XO

  3. I swear, just hearing her sweet voice has made me smile. I would love to be around hearing it all the time. James’s (Katie’s Client) voice is getting faintly lower…faintly. He is 11 going on 12 now. I am enchanted with the video. Thank you for featuring the video. No wonder you love having them over!!

  4. It’s wonderful that you and TM had a play date together🩷 Cute video… takes me back to summers when I was a kid… no videos though. A cooking show… pizza! “My feet were clean”… LOL! Chocolate Frog for dessert. I needed this… making me smile and a few giggles!

  5. It’s always a good time you can spend it with your favorite peeps! I know your great nieces loves every second you share with her, too. 🙂

I’m borrowing your fill-ins for my 4M post. 😉 Have a happy and safe Independence Day, my dear! xo

  6. I’m so glad you get to spend time with the children. It’s a blessing for you and them.

  7. Very imaginative. Mom did some fast forwarding, but still enjoyed the play date. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali

  8. Aww, TM is quite adorable and seems to really have a really delightful imagination. Looks like you both enjoyed playtime. 😉 Wilson and I watched a fair amount of the video. He was very intrigued by her voice.

  9. I sure enjoyed watching the video. So much fun, and good idea for the dolls to do a cooking judging show! Got to laughing about stomping the dough with her feet, and later stirring the chocolate. So funny. Reminds me of playing like this with my grand daughter’s dolls and her play kitchen. Wonderful memories! 🙂
