Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I have an unusual thankful this week. I am thankful for Typhoid Mary’s dirty tissues. Her basketball games have 8 parts of 5 minutes each and they rotate so she plays in 4 of those. During the other 4 she comes over and asks me for a tissue- blows her nose and hands it back to me. You wouldn’t give a used tissue to just anyone, so I am honored to be the chosen one. I think it is an excuse to come visit on her breaks too.
And Rosie is thankful she found something fun to do- help me assemble a room to a doll house.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
4. I like to DIY ______________.

LOL!!! Yes a very unusual thankful!! I nearly snorted out my coffee!
I hope the doll house construction goes without complications.
Glad you got a chuckle. 🙂 It is just one room and my hands are too big for those little pieces. XO
Ahahaha! Rosie looks very knowledgeable and I can tell she’s going to be a big help! XO
Yes, she is very helpful. XO
It sounds like it is all go at your house!
Busy times. 🙂 XO
A doll house! If it weren’t for the snow the cold and how far away you live I’d be right over to help. How I love to think back on the dollhouse I had when I was small and wish I still had it
I wish you could visit- we would have lots of fun and I bet you could build it better than I could. XO
Kudos for the being the chosen one by TM. That’s a sweet pic of Rosie, your little helper.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Hmm……interesting theory on the dirty kleenex thing. LOL Love is shown in many interesting ways but this might be the most interesting one!
Hugs, Pam
Thank you. 🙂 XO

That’s an unusual gift for her to give you! But we understand.
Thank you. 🙂
I LOVED what you’re thankful for and yes, I too would consider it a badge of honor!! xxooxx
1. Social Media is absolutely my biggest waste of time.
2. I am allergic to aspirin and all NSAIDS
3. My upbringing heavily influences actions and mindset.
4. I like to DIY nothing. Totally nothing. Not my thang. (except hobby stuff)
Thank you. 🙂 And thank you for these great answers. How awful to be allergic to those meds-hope you have no aches and pains. XO
Thanky! 🙂 The Allergist said take Tylenol. I said “it doesn’t work!!!” He said, “it will now!”.
However, the inflammation lowering properties of NSAIDS are wonderful. That alone has caused work-arounds by the doctors since I can’t take them.
I find Tylenol useless. XO
glad you are the chosen one ~. sweet kitty helping with the doll house ~ hugs,
an artist reflects
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Now that’s the most unusual thank you I think I’ve ever heard. 😊 How sweet that she gifts you her used tissues on her breaks. Have fun putting that dollhouse together.

We gave a doll house to my Mom for one of her birthdays… she loved it and she had a great time putting it together and getting miniature furniture for it. It was a fun thing. It’s good you have Rosie to help!
Thank you. 🙂 That was a thoughtful gift. This is one room and it is so hard with my bug hands. XO
HA! That’s a really fun thankful, she sure loves you! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

About the tissue thing.
Rosie has a determined look on her face!

Oona: “Oona would also enjoy the chance to assemble a room in a doll house! And by ‘assemble’ she means ‘knock over and scatter’ of course.”
Charlee: “We didn’t get an error when we commented with Safari so we are going to try it again on this post. Hopefully it works.”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, the safari continues? I think I see some lions over there! Oh wait that’s just Chaplin.”
I bet Oona could do better than I am at assembling it. 🙂 Sorry for the trouble commenting- glad Safari worked.
