Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful I was able to get Penelope’s photo for the Christmas card without needing bandages.

I skipped the poem this week.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. The easiest one on my Christmas shopping list to buy for is _________________________.
2. The toughest one in my Christmas shopping list to buy for is _____________________.
3. I try to spread Christmas cheer by _________.

4. When it comes to _________, I’m a bit of a Scrooge.

  1. All are “easy” now; grown up grands only want cold hard cash …
Thus none are “hard” now … (but that also takes the fun out of gifting, sigh)
Pay It Forward: give a little extra where most needed helps spread holiday cheer …
One cannot be “Scrooge-like” and believe in the true spirit of Christmas …

  2. Penelope…I can’t even begin to think you could scratch your Mom! That had to have been a mis-type, right??? You look gorgeous in green!
    1. The easiest one on my Christmas list is my daughter-in-law.
    2. The toughest one in my Christmas shopping list is my middle son.
    3. I try to spread cheer by being friendly and smiling in stores. I am that way all year around. It’s a pleasure to do and it’s wonderful to see a smile across the counter in return.
    4. When it comes to all the paraphanalia surrounding Christmas, I am a bit of a scrooge.

    1. She bites too. 🙂 Thank you for these great answers. I am sure you do spread a lot of cheer. XO

  3. I am thankful you didn’t need any bandages! I guess Penelope is a little spicy? She looks very festive and cute in green!
