Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful that my hubby has a green thumb. Look at this lettuce he grew:

It was very tasty.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I am lucky he has it because I am not a fan of the outdoors. XO

    1. Thank you. 🙂 We have metal pie pans hanging to scare the deer and something that makes sounds they can hear. XO

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Ours is usually not that big because we grow in containers, but this was a self starter in a pile of mulch. XO

  1. That is beautiful lettuce! I would eat that lettuce… so much better than the lettuce in the produce section. I don’t like to even buy produce in a grocery store. We love salads but everything spoils so quickly.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 It is hard to find good lettuce or any veggies at the store. XO

  2. I’m glad to catch up with your recent posts and see what all the kitties have to say. The calm before the kids get out of school! aww it will be fine. The lettuce looks so good! Congratulations on a good crop! 🙂

  3. That lettuce looks so good and we bet it is much tastier and healthier than what you can find in the store. Our canary Dylan would love a leaf to munch on.

    1. That is too bad. What about some planters on top of cinder blocks ( your sons could set up). That is how my hubby plants a lot of stuff. XO

  4. Holy salad bowl! That’s a great lettuce bunch and no doubt far more tasty than anything you’d get at the grocery store.
