Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful that Typhoid Mary remembers her Grammie Ness (my sister), not to be confused with Grammie (my mom).  Typhoid Mary was only 4 years old when my sister passed away, she is 6 now and made this at school.

Her wish was that Grammie Ness would come back to life.

I am finally joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day again. The photo prompt was a cat so I couldn’t resist.

Who is this handsome new cat?
I am not sharing my mom, my treats or my mat.
Oops! It is just adorable me.
I am pretty cute-don’t you agree?
And today is I day for The A-Z Blogging Challenge. As you know, my theme is Halloween. I is for in-disguise (I had a tough time finding an I).
Rusty was in-disguise last year for Halloween.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. How precious that thoughtful wish from TM. ❤️
    That’s a fun poem!
I once had an almost life sized image of a blue siamese in a children’s book…Minko puffed up and came to see if there was a threat, LOL! (he never reacted to his image in a mirror.)

  2. Typhoid Mary certainly made a sweet wish…..and the artwork is precious. Most of all we love your poem AND thank you for joining in the poetic fun – we’ll have to use cat photos more often if it gets you to PAWticipate!!!!! LOL

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too)

  3. Charlee: “That is a sweet wish from Typhoid Mary.”
Chaplin: “We would make that same wish for our beloved brother Dennis.”
Oona: “That is an adorable orange cat in the poem. He reminds Oona of her brother Odin, as would Rusty, if he were not in disguise.”

  4. I am touched straight to my heart about Typhoid Mary’s wish for her Grammie Ness. God bless her.
Enjoyed the poem and the skull’s face that Rusty had on…whoa Nelly!

  6. Typhoid Mary’s wish is a heartbreaker. You all are keeping her Grammie Ness alive with memories I am sure.
A pretty cute ginger cat and a pretty darn cute poem! That In-disguise was a good disguise for Rusty! BOO!

  7. You will keep your sister’s memory alive for those children.

Fun poem and the letter “I” isn’t always easy, you found a good one with in disguise. Rusty did a great job.

  8. that is just so kind of little Typhoid Mary. Keep those memories alive in her with conversation and photos.
