Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful that the kids were here on Sunday. The girls got to use the new kit I got them with sand, gems and pirates.
It even came with molds to make mini sandcastles. If you enlarge the photos, you will see the mini castles.
I skipped the poem this week.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. I will keep my old _________________________ over a new one any day.
2. My theme song for the year is __________________. (Sorry, I know I already did a focus word, but I needed more motivation).
3. _________ is the most relaxing part of my day.
4. _________ is the most stressful part of my day.
Those are fun kits!! At first I thought you had been doing being with them, LOL!!!
They are. 🙂 XO
Somehow auto spell took baking as being…phooey!! LOL! That sure made for a silly sentence, and I didn’t proofread before I hit the post button, tee-hee!
No worries. 🙂 XO
I see the castles! 😎 Cool! XO
Glad you could see them. 🙂 XO
Those look like fun kits!
They are. XO
KItties love sand boxes….hmmm……but those little girls are SO lucky to have a creative toy-provider.
The kitties can’t get to these. 🙂 Thank you, you are too kind. XO
I think I need one of those sand kits for myself. Give me something to do on a snowy day and make me think about sunshine in the beach.
They are fun. 🙂 XO
Wow! How fun! Kits are nice to have on a bad weather day.
Yes, they are. 🙂 XO
Playing in the sand on a warm beach sounds nice about now. I told DH that if we win the lottery that we can buy a condo in Miami so that we can live there January – early March then move back to TN. lol It’s so, so very cold this morning. It got down to 16º. We’re under a winter storm watch starting tomorrow morning going through Saturday that may produce 2-4 inches of snow. I’m so ready for spring!
You must be a little south of me. We’re getting the 4-6 in the morning. I’m just 13 mi. from Knoxville. Last year it was 11-12 inches, and I sure hope that isn’t the case this time.
Hope you don’t get that much. XO
It is colder here, but no snow. XO
Playing with kids makes us feel young again!
Yes, it does. Except when it is time to get off the floor. 🙂
Great way to keep the kids occupied and stretch their immaginations.
Exactly. 🙂
It sounds like you had a fun time!

I do and I hope they do. XO
That looks like a fun project. Mom used to do things like that with the grands when they were little, and she said the sand can make a mess. But she thinks it is way better that the Play-Doh she really did not like.
Woos – Misty and Timber
Thank you. I hate the smell of play doh. I prefer clay. XO
Glad you and the kids had some fun. Those sand pirate gem sets look like a lot of fun! 🙂
