Hi everyone! Mom has been getting up on the wrong side of the bed all week. Sammy stretches out on the side and she can’t get past him so she has to get out on Dad’s side when he gets up.

I am joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am most thankful that I got to spend time with Grammie on Monday and I saw her on Wednesday too. Grammie gave me treats 3 times on Monday, everyone else only got them twice. And she gave me some drinks from the bathroom sink. I love my Grammie so very much!

And here is my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day, I thought I would be an over-achiever like Madi and use all 4 of the H word choices.

I don’t like to be sappy
but my heart is happy
I have a great home
we even have a pet gnome


I just have one complaint
I never claimed to be a saint
Mom likes to crochet hats
and puts them on us cats
I am going to lobby
for mom to get a new hobby

  6. Tee Hee!!! Love your poem for Poetic Thursdays – but I think your Mom’s hobby is wonderful and she makes the BESTEST things for everybody including YOU ALL. She’s very talented………I’m glad you got to see your Grammie AND got a lot of treats from her too………….HAPPY THURSDAY!

  11. Those really are cute hats. We are glad you got to spend time with your Grammie. But that gnome-guy… He looks like a total pushover! Go for it.

  12. This here human had to get out of bed on the wrong side this morning, too! Well, more like she had to get out at the foot of the bed because cats were blocking all the sides. And we love your poem, Phoebe! How clever you were to use all four H words. And how cool that you have a pet gnome! Does he bite? He looks quite friendly, so we hope not. Purrs!

  24. Phoebe, that was an A++ poem. We used three of the words and thought we were over-achievers. Now we know that we were just slackers. We think you pet gnome is very cute. We have a big cement gnome in our garden. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
