Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful to Sophie at Three Chatty Cats. She wanted to thank me for the tooth fairy gifts so she managed to sneak me some cool stickers from her mom’s store, Cat Lady Alley. If you want to visit, click here.

There is a lot to choose from- stickers, notepads, keychains, etc.

She even sent a Jr Cat Lady sticker for The Great One.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

My little girl wanted me to wear a tutu
for mowing the lawn, it is a little fru fru.
No. I haven’t gone mad
I am proud to be a girl dad.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Those are cute stickers for sure! I like the Meowdy one alot! I think there used to be a cat writer who had a cat named Meowdy. His name was Warren Eckstein maybe (?) Anyway, funny poem too! At least you’d stay cool if you mowed like that! XO

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I just looked him up. I had not heard of him before. XO

  2. Those are fun stickers!!

Your poem is great! I hope he didn’t have tp explain that all to the neighbors!!

I am thankful that though we had some wicked weather in our area on Tuesday, no one was killed. There was a EF2 tornado and perhaps two or three others. Our son lives very close to there and he is fine, our pastor is without power, and had some minor damage, he lives on the edge of where the tornado came down. Many homes destroyed, and some non life threatening injuries…and all kinds of trees downed, cannot even drive through that area…what a mess, its been declared a state of emergency.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I am glad your family stayed safe. Tornadoes are scary. XO

  3. I enjoy Thursdays for the gratefulness I get to read and be glad of for my CB friends.

  4. The stickers are fun and I like the Meowdy one. I love your cute poem and it’s a perfect fit for the image.

  5. Charlee: “Cat stickers! What could be better?”
Chaplin: “Our Dada says he’s more worried about that man mowing the lawn in his bare feet than about the tutu!”

  6. How nice! I love those stickers and will have to remember to go shop for some to stick on the cover of my laptop. Happy Thursday!

  7. Such a sweet poem. The photo has really elicited a lot of poems showing the special bond between dads and daughters. Rachel has so many great things in her shop. So nice of Sophie to pick out some special ones for you. 9. That looks like some really need stuff you were sent, I’ll have to check it out at her store.

Your poem is just right, some men don’t mind at all being girl dads.
