Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful for half days of school. I got to spend time with The Great One and Typhoid Mary. We made heart shaped pillows. This is The Great One’s cat, Pumpkin, he thought the pillow was for him.

We also made basketball necklaces out of washers and played basketball outside because it was fairly warm out. The girls also gave me a makeover which I agreed to because I forgot I had to go to the grocery store. It was a great day.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

The little one wanted to cook for me.
When I said yes, she was filled with glee.
I will eat whatever she makes with a smile
days like this make life worthwhile.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. On Superbowl Sunday, I will _________________________.

2. The toy I couldn’t live without as a child was ______________.
3. My _________ skills are much better than my _________ skills.

4. I _________ when choosing _________.

  2. It sounds like it was a terrific arts and crafts day. I like the little pillow that is with a beautiful kitty Pumpkin. Did the girls give you enough lipstick before you went to the grocery?

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Yes, one might say too much lipstick, blush and eye shadow. 🙂 I looked like I was going to a bar.
