Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that I got to have Typhoid Mary over for a while on Tuesday. Rosie was not as thankful.
I am thankful she doesn’t make a mess like the kid in the photo prompt.
We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day. And here is the photo prompt provided:
Maybe you shouldn’t have left me alone,
but you were distracted by your phone.
I’m sure someday we’ll laugh about this,
for now, how about a big old kiss.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. ________________________ always gives me a headache.
2. Ten years ago, I was _________________________.
3. _________ is the reason I haven’t yet _________.
4. I prefer _________, but I also don’t mind _________.
Messy, but adorable! There’s one to keep to embarrass Mary when she’s grown up. I just hope nobody slips on that chocolate and goes for an unintended trip.
I am sure whoever this kid is, his mom will show his wife. XO
Ahaha cute poem, Ellen, made me laugh! XO
Thank you. XO
That was a fun poem!!
Glad that you had a good time with little TM!
Thank you. XO
That was a fun poem and so likely!
Thank you. XO
Well a chocolate kiss is better than no kiss at all………but what a MESS!!! LOL
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Good point. XO
I enjoyed that poem! And Rosie..she’ll be back, Typhoid Mary. You know you really don’t mind. XXOO
Thank you. XO
Cute poem for a chocolate child! I’ll just say that on #2 10 years ago I was chasing a bouncy ball non-stop for Precious. She was young and playful and played soccer if I threw and of course had to fetch it back, lol.
Thank you. Aww.. that sounds fun. XO
Good things to be thankful for! xo
Thank you. XO
That’s a perfect poem for the image!
Thank you. XO
Most welcome, Ellen.
Oh the mess in that photo so Happy I was not involved in clean up. Your poem was 100% correct, and I too am so thankful TM is not messy.
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. XO

Actually, that must have been a riot for that kid!
Glad I didn’t have to clean the mess. 🙂
Kids definitely know how to entertain themselves, whether we like how they do it or not. Great poem.
Yes, they do. Thank you. XO
Lulu: “Wowwwww! Rolling around in stuff level: Expert.”
Yes, he is. 🙂
That is one fun poem, love it!
Thank you. XO
Cute poem! LOL
Thank you. XO
Love everything about your poem!! Always glad to hear that you spent some time with TM and/or TGO. I’m thinking Rosie spent the day UTB or maybe up high!
Thank you. UTB so she is out of sight. My niece’s kids are like monkeys so if she was up high, TM would climb to get to her. 🙂 XO
LOL! UTB it is.
Great poem!! That was a fun photo prompt.
Thank you. Yes, it was fun. XO

Thank you. I only do funny ones that rhyme. 🙂 XO
Cute poem! That kid sure had fun.
Thank you. 🙂
Kids are a lot messier than pets are! Last weekend I was at my uncle’s house and he was laughing at how a few days before his grandson had been trying to go down his slide naked. When it wasn’t working well he peed down the slide to make it easier to get down! My uncle was cracking up, but all I could think is give me a cat or dog any day! MOL
Yuck! I’m with you on the cats. 🙂 XO
That’s a cute poem and yes, a really good thankful for too! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. XO
I like your poem, yes, it’s funny in a picture but not in real life so i’m also glad you didn’t have to deal with messes when Mary came over.
Thank you. She is messy, but not that bad. 🙂
