We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  I am thankful that Joanie will be celebrating her 17th birthday tomorrow.  I am sad that her brother, Angel Sammy is no longer with us, but thankful for all the years of love he gave me. I am still finding it tough to fall asleep without my boy making muffins in my hair and purring.

Will you look at the side of those teeth

If his jaw snaps shut, I don’t want to be underneath.
I’m glad he can no longer chew
I would have preferred a visit to the zoo.

    And yes, a very sweet poem for your sister. You could take that poem, and surround it with flowers, all embroidered as a remembrance for your great nieces. (And one for yourself, too…)❤️

  6. Mom and I love the poem for Vanessa…..and the photo of Angel Sammy and his sister sweet Joanie enjoying birthday cake is adorable. I know Angel Sammy will make sure Joanie has a happy day. As for the dino photo – GOOD JOB giving us a giggle – I think I’d prefer seeing those teeth from a distance too!!!!

  16. Ellen you are so very welcomed…a sister is a gift…the bond and treasures you and Vanessa had as sisters was shared TGO and TM…such memories.

    Today was groceries early then our Covid boosters. Wanted all that done just incase they weather that is predicted (3-4″) of rain possibly starting tomorrow thru Sunday.

  20. We all know what it’s like. My Oliver passed in March, yet I still miss his purrs so much at night. I’m ready to adopt an adult cat now, though. Nell, Lucy and I need somebody in our lives. <3
